I think it could be a really cool idea as long as there is a long required cooldown between changes that keeps us from abusing "best of both worlds" mechanics such as changing hats for a second to eat a veggie and immediately changing back to fight mobs. Or maybe even if the changes are somewhat uncontrollabe?
