Waverly, because I personally believe she wouldn't be out of place since magic is a key theme in Don't Starve. I've already got a silly idea envisioned for her animated short:

She'd receive a brewing request from a crow with a parcel in it's mouth. The parcel would have a letter tied to it detailing the ingredients for the brew, and the parcel itself would contain nightmare fuel, the key ingredient delivered from the Constant. Waverly would then begin to brew in her cauldron as normal until she adds the nightmare fuel, at which point the iconic portal swirl would appear in the pot and good ol' shadow hands would just burst out and smash up her hut as she panics and frantically flips through a spell book only to get pulled into the cauldron.

Perhaps her personality could be that of a snarky yet misunderstood witch whose penchant for the bizarre often garners a less than ideal reputation? I dunno, I'm just spouting ideas.

I've had the same thought. All the survivors get ready to battle Charlie only to see Wagstaff has replaced her.

Wagstaff will become the next Pick-and-Swap-Character if implemented into DST. So far he has almost only penalties besides the fact, that he can craft the Thumper and the Telebrella, and these objects are the reason most players want to see Wagstaff in DST. Same as Winona you'll join, craft some items, and swap your character to another one. Wagstaff is the DS version of Winona: Different items, more penalties.

After seeing this comment I unraveled a bunch of items just to get the carol emote to hear it, and oh my god you're right. It's so good! Major props to Moonleaf and Hornet!

P.S. Moonleaf doesn't talk much or get out there but he does lurk in the forums, can you guys just send him PM's congratulating him on the carol, @Moonleaf He doesn't like praise but he's gonna get it damnit.

also just to let you know Warbucks is top three in most wanted characters

and the other two above him are Wagstaff and Wheeler

Wagstaff has the same abilitys as Winona and Wheeler acts like Wortox and her unique gun is anti Mutiplayer

perhaps that's an issue with the celestial portal, rather?

TBH I'd like if Winona were to reverse-engineer some of his left behind technology and add it to her crafting tab, but with electrical powering required. If she's a character based entirely around unique crafting, at least make her THE character for it.

I unironically think Warbucks has a good shot of being one of the next ones.

Think about it: 

- Completely fleshed out Animations Sheet

- Finished Sounds

- Finished Inspection Sheet

Ofc the mechanics he had in Hamlet are absolute garbage. I think that if he ever were to come into play, he would probably flesh out the somewhat bland hunting system. His character is based off the hunter from Tarzan, after all I think.
