  1. Currently, the only thing separating life and death on a sinking raft is your ability to willingly enter the water before you're forced to. If you manage to do this, you'll be swept all the way back to the Florid Postern; soaked to the bone. A potentially life-threatening situation. But is it enough? Though what may seem like a bad time at first, many have begun to use to their advantage. Not only is wetness useful in keeping away the summer's heat, but the teleportation all the way to the portal might actually be an easy way to save traveling time. Is this really the same last resort our survivors go on about being so frightened about? Probably for WX. ... But for other survivors, I'm not so sure. I wanted to get an idea on other's thoughts, so a poll we go. There's been a lot of these lately, yeah? Reply below with your thoughts or ideas. Though keep in mind, we are still in a pretty early beta, so the aspects of the ocean might not stay the same as time goes on.
  2. I was watching a few DST streamers and on one of their streams they asked if it was safe to remove pig heads from touch stones without jeopardizing her ability to revive on it. This got me thinking... pig heads make excellent pieces of decoration especially for something like a Werepig farm set up or for a Mooncaller staff area the pig heads with their eyes filled by lunar energy got me thinking why stop there? Other animals might not glow on Full moons but they could serve as deterrents such as maybe a spider effigy will keep spiders from wandering over to your basecamp from a nearby spiders nest. Bunnymen and Piggies will cower from Webber/Wortox mains who build their respective effigy. I added a couple different options too because i'm curious like that anyways let me know which of these options if any you'd like in the game why or why not, or what would you personally prefer?

    With so much salt being thrown around in these forums (boy, what a wonderful world we live in) I thought a poll would be interesting. That being said SW is still superior and nothing can change my mind about that.
  5. If one character would have to die for the story to move on, who do you think it'd be? They'd still be playable. They'd just be dead in the lore. Also how would they have died? Warly and Wormwood doesn't count since they're not out yet.
  6. Decided to make a poll with both Hamlet and Shipwrecked. The questions ask it all; which characters would you like to see most? Why would you guys personally like to see each character? What about them would be cool in a rework for DST? Feel free to post your ideas!

  8. I know, I know, another thread about Wheeler. But this one is not like other girls, it has a poll! I want to collect everyone's thoughts on Wheeler and her changes in her current state to decide what the majority thinks of her right now in this neatly organized poll. What do you guys think of her shooter, her dodge, her movement buff, her previous drawback, her lack of current drawback? I wanna hear from all you guys. If you are not aware of the changes, I recommend you read over today's update log before voting.

  11. I have seen a lot of people turn their camera while they are playing, and also that a lot don't do that. I made this poll because I want to find out who does it and who does not, purely out of curiosity.
  12. At this point, I think that "insanity" aspect of the game is very barebones and a little bit incomplete. That's why I bring in an initiative of suggesting some changes/additions to the insanity mechanic. I am aware that insanity is exploited to get nightmare fuel, which is used to access some pretty good gear. Well, that kind of irradicates a form of challenge in the game. My desire is that getting nice stuff means bigger... risks. I think that insanity should be remastered in a way that it resembles more of a nightmare. I want insanity to be feared by players, because many don't give a heck about it and just keep farming nightmare fuel. I would like this to have it's expenses, prices and risks.

  16. It's a simple poll. Which do you think is harder to survive, winter or summer? Personally, I think that winter is harder to survive, because the things that you require to survive winter are much harder to acquire than those for summer. So, what do you think?

  18. One day on the forums, I read about a new mob that supposedly hunts the player about the map. The eyelid-raising part of this new creature was that it was hard to kill, not impossible to kill. At this moment, I realized how important options are in a survival game such as Don't Starve- how the possibilities for survival tactics can hinge on whether or not a mob is kill-able.Imagine a spider queen update that featured an invincible spider queen; the update would have made migration necessary and combat less important.My question is this: should all mobs (assuming the grue doesn't count; he's pretty fair right now) that Klei adds be a viable kill target for the sake of freedom of choice?
