JoeW Posted August 6, 2021 Share Posted August 6, 2021 On August 12th, we will bring the Don't Starve Together: Waterlogged update to the live version of the game. With this update we bring a whole new ocean biome with lots of cool stuff, a new 64 bit version of the game and several boat changes. Don't Starve Together: Waterlogged changes: Added the Waterlogged ocean biome Great Tree Trunk Knobbly Trees Fig, with new recipes Grass Gator Sea Strider Added a 64 bit version of the game! Boat Changes: All boats will now eventually come to a stop, regardless of whether it has an anchor or not. Doubled the top speed of boats. Greatly improved the performance on worlds with lots of boats(depending on the number of boats, as much as a 50% improvement in total performance). Boats will now properly collide with all objects while offscreen. When logging back in, players will now respawn on the boat they logged off on, regardless of whether it has moved since they logged off. As for the content update, I'm glad it's coming sooner than later but I hope it'll get some improvements. (Finally implemented 2021-08-09, this fixes the whole update) ☐ Improve the stats of Figgy Frogwich. [Bonus: add a higher hunger restoration to Fig Stuffed Trunk] ☑ Prevent Shadow loggers from cutting down Knobby trees and above average trunks. (implemented 2021-08-03) ☐ Add sweetener properties to the sweetish fish or make them drop figs upon killed. ☐ Increase the fruit value of figs to 1. ☐ Increase the meat value of trunks to 2. ☐ Make tree jam inflammable and usable as fuel. ☐ Increase the number of products given from crafting tree jams or make the crafting recipe cheaper. ☑ Make above average trees drop more wood and driftwood upon cutting/destruction.
