Oh thank GOD, the Wendy rework. Finally! Long overdue. I eagerly look forward to the short. I probs won't get to actually play around with it for a good long while because Doom Eternal comes out the day after, but aaaaahhh yes, it's great to see!

I love the timing; this update comes out a literal day after my bday. Can't wait!

Also, I'm a fan of actually being able to command Abigail movement-wise; pretty sure Abigail's AI was one of Wendy mains' biggest complaints. I am a bit confused about the last point though; does this mean that Abigail's damage will go up the more enemies are in range, or is it the exact opposite so that she's still "effective against a single enemy"?

Skins weren't mentioned in Woodie's update details either, and we got a skin set for him + some belongings that anyone can use. I don't think it's too unlikely we'll get some skins with this update.

Got inspired, tried to make Wendy as a dark Magical Girl on this doll-maker...

I think it turned out pretty well.  And by "well", I mean "creepy as eff".  : P

(I mean, OBVIOUSLY Wendy would be the Madoka type of magical girl. Who are we kidding.)

I know one thing, I didn't save up over 5000 spools for there to be no new wendy skin with the rework.

We already have all released crystaline skins, so it will be something new. Maybe something Wendy related, like Abigail's Moon Flower

Wendy needs a sailor moon outfit transformation when using the wardrobe. So does Wolfgang.

There is already a sailor uniform, just put that on plus a skirt and you're good.

5 days left to go and I can hardly contain my excitement this is my Main, the single most important character to me that I’ve been most vocal about.

Probably my second most vocal would be Walani followed by Wickerbottom, and Winona Every other character I don’t really PLAY often enough to rightfully say what I would like to see out of them.

However- I VERY STRONGLY Believe that any and all changes made to a character should directly be inspired by their Klei Official Art Work found in their character portrait images and Vignettes.

For Wendy that’s been sitting on Tombstones and enjoying the company of ghosts.

For Wolfgang he would apparently be getting a dumbbell to work out with Etc..

Well, that is also Wendy's hair colour (or as close as I could get, anyway).  But mainly it's probably because Sailor Moon is an oldschool "magical girl" type, and that's what that dollmaker is exactly meant for.    In this case, rather than go with her actual outfit colours, I decided to spin off from the "dark emo necromancer chick who talks to ghosts" thing and come up with kind of a goth version.  (She's always kind of BEEN an Elegant Gothic Lolita type at heart, especially when you consider her Victorian outfit from the Gorge.) 

Anyway here is what Wendy (and Abigail) would look like in that maker ("Glitter Cure") with their usual colour scheme:

Note that there ISN'T a purely blank eye option; this is what the closest I could get looks like before I blank out the eyes completely (in Paint, no less).

And speaking of Sailor Moon, the good people at Doll Divine have of course made a dollmaker specfically for that, too.  Here's Wendy, Abigail and Willow according to Sailor Senshi 3:

As you can see, what with the adult body proportions and only REALLY short skirts available it doesn't work as well, but you get the idea.  : P

As for a henshin sequence when they use the wardrobe...for me, it doesn't have to be anything fancy.  I'd die laughing if they just jumped up in the air a little, twirled around, and came back down in the new outfit, like a Sim.  XD

EDIT:  Wolfgang getting a Sailor-Moon-esque transformation...oh god...now I'm picturing something closer to "Magical Girl Ore"... XD  (Maybe that can be for when he turns MIGHTY...?)
