  1. Equivalent Exchange

Equivalent Exchange allows you to convert different items into each other. The idea isn't from me (original EE: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1106178-125-equivalent-exchange-2-v1467/ )
    Basic Concept:
This Mod is about converting different items into each other, and about new late game item.
    EMC value:
The EMC value is an additional value inside of a lot of item, only these items have potential to be converted into different ones.
Changes to the Science Machine and Alchemy Engine:
    Science Machine:
If you're giving an item to the Science Machine (it will not consume your item), it will tell you if the item has an EMC value and an EE recipe (Alchemical Researcher)
    Alchemy Engine:
If you're giving an item with an EMC value to the Alchemy Engine, it will consume it and will ad the EMC to his internal EMC buffer, if this buffer is big enough, it will create gold (e.g. 5 flint or 10 log).
Alchemical Chest (5 gold and 3 boards):
Because putting single items into the Alchemy Engine is annoying, I added The Alchemical Chest, a chest which converts its' inventory into gold.
Alchemical Researcher (5 gold and 3 boards):
Do you want to convert your gold back into flint, log or something else, then you need the recipe for it, simply put the item you want the recipe for in the top slot (only works with EE recipes), 5 gold in the middle slot (because of balancing) and empty the bottom slot, close the Inventory and wait for a 15 seconds, then reopen the inventory.
    (screenshot available)
    Dark Matter (20 gold):
    = gold tier 2
Exchangine Chest (1 Dark Matter and 3 boards):
Think of an Alchemical Chest which is able to convert items not only into gold, just put the desired item into the additional slot from the inventory. Oh and it's a bit faster.
Upgrading an Alchemical or Exchanging Chest
Put gold in every slot from its' inventory and than close it.
->The converted items will than no longer be dropped on the ground, but instead put into the chest. (screenshot available)
    Dark Matter Tools:
Twice as powerful, don't break, expansive.
    more in 1.4
    ---------------------------------------------------
    since 1.3 (Energyupdate):
!!!The energysystem is global, so you don't have to connect the machines through wires!!!
If the alchemical researcher has created 5 recipes (used 25 gold) it will start glowing brighter, try to make a dark matter recipe and you will get a global singularity recipe...global singularity = 35 gold
    uses for the global singularity:
-create an EMCbattery (it has 25 gold stored on construction, so it only costs 15 gold in theory)
-create an EMCsolarpanel (it will create 2 gold per day)
-create an EMCpanelbooster ( it will consume 50 gold per day but will also boosts all solarpanel in its lightradius, so that they create 10 gold per day - the light is strong enough to stay alive in the dark)
-upgrade the alchemical chest (just put on into it and than close it, now it will not longer conwert the items into gold, but convert them into energy, will direcktly put 20 gold into the system, so that this upgrade only costs 15 gold)
The exchanging chest has always a connection to the energysystem (if you upgraded it with gold), so you don't have to upgrade it with a singularity, and well it can create every item with an EMC value from Energy.
    Exchanged Life (10 global singularities)
Can be activated, after which it will drain 1 gold per second for half a day (= 240 gold) and will then revive you if you die. If you die, it can be activated again.
    ---------------------------------------------------
    since 1.4 (Mobupdate):
you can now craft enchanted matter (dark matter tier 2) at an ancient pseudo thingy in the ruins (10 dark matter, 10 thulecite)
dark matter axe = weapon + axe
dark matter pickaxe = pickaxe + hammer + shovel
enchanted matter multitool = weapon + axe + pickaxe + hammer + shovel
    mobexchanger
you can use it to spawn mobs from their drops or if you attacked one with a dark matter pickaxe or the multitool
bosses will have less HP, but don't attack them with the darkmatter axe or the multitool.
if you try to use darkmatter or gold to set a mob, you'll get an emergency shutdown.
Now things like rope and cutstone also have an EE-recipe
if you drop darkmatter on the red ground in the ruins, it will become an ancient pseudo thingy.
you can also bild an ancient altar mover (1 enchanted matter) to move an ancient pseudo thingy.
    T.A.P:
    coppernugget EMC value
    metal plates EMC value
    second recipe for metal plates
    -------------------------------
    Information for mod devs:
if you want that your added item can be converted into other items with the EE system, then add an EMC value to it:
    prefab.EMCvalue = 3000/15 --3000 = goldnugget
if you want that your item can also be converted from other items, then add an EMC name:
    prefab.EMCname = "yourprefab"
if you want to be funny then you can add somthing like:
    prefab.EMCname = "spoiled_food"

  4. Fixed Tooth Traps

Makes tooth traps as responsive as they were before the "All's Well that Maxwell" game update (2013-10-22), with a nearby target being checked for every 0.4 seconds, instead of the current 2 seconds. This prevents the rather common scenario of an enemy walking over a tooth trap without triggering it.
Additionally, it makes tooth traps less CPU hungry by having they only check for targets every 15 seconds when they are offscreen by a significant distance*.
    * Put precisely, this conservative mode is enabled at the same conditions where the game freezes world activity due to the player being too far away.
Both the target check delay for when a tooth trap is onscreen and for when it is not are configurable, via the options "Target Check Period" and "Offscr. Targ. Check Period". Setting the latter to "inf" will disable offscreen target checking.

  8. Compromising Survival

Upon death, politely asks if you *really* want to die.
This dialog will only be presented if you don't have a regular resurrection method available, such as a Meat Effigy (including one on the surface, if inside a cave).
Reloading a save takes you back to the last point the game saved. Resurrecting gives you the option to instantly resurrect at the spot you're at or on the next day, at the nearest Fire Pit. Both methods of resurrection give you 10 seconds of invulnerability.
Being a permadeath game is a big part of Don't Starve's appeal, so use at your own discretion.

  10. Clockwork Tooth Trap (RoG compatible)

Maintaining an effective killing field of tooth traps is a time consuming process. Recent advancements in gear technology have lead to self-resetting traps: the Clockwork Tooth Trap, dealing 55 points of damage and having 21 uses, automatically resetting itself 8 seconds after being sprung.
This trap is more convenient than it's more primitive counterpart, but that comes at a cost: Clockwork Traps run on hound's teeth as "fuel", and when the trap runs out of fuel it stops resetting (but does not vanish). Fueling it with a hound's tooth restores 7 uses. A tooth is only accepted if the remaining uses are 14 or less, to prevent resource waste.
Dealing slightly less damage and costing more teeth to upkeep, regular traps are still more resource efficient.
You gain the ability to set traps that you never need to worry about replacing. Have some beautiful designs made of death and they will always stay that way. To increase cleanup, the traps are pickup on right-click only. This means you can left-click or hold spacebar to your heart's content near them.
It requires an Alchemy Engine for crafting, costing 1 log, 1 gear and 3 hound's teeth.

@GRNCeleryStick was kind enough to make a video spotlighting the mod, check it out:

  13. Action Queue

Tired picking grass by clicking on one tuft at a time? Tired of holding the space bar for no end chopping wood whenever you want to build some wooden flooring for your base? Then this mod is for you!
This mod allows you to queue a sequence of actions by holding SHIFT and dragging the mouse, forming a selection box enclosing all your targets. This allows you to automate the process of picking, harvesting, chopping, digging, shaving Beefalo and many more repetitive tasks, by simply selecting all your targets and then sitting back (offensive actions such as attacking are not performed, to avoid... accidents).
To use this mod, hold SHIFT, press a mouse button and drag the selection box, releasing the mouse button when you're done selecting. You may use either the left or right mouse buttons: only the actions normally performed by that button are executed in each case (excluding some actions, like attacking, as mentioned before). If you simply click an entity while SHIFT is held, that entity will be toggled from the selection (included if it weren't, removed if it were). To cancel a series of tasks, simply click anywhere on the ground or press any movement key (but managing your inventory will not cancel the queue).
When you perform a selection, the queued actions are those of the tool you have equipped, if any, as well as "inherent" ones which do not depend on tools (such as picking grass). If you have a selected item (as is done for razors, when shaving Beefalo), only the actions corresponding to this item will be performed, granting you a finer grained selection of what should be performed.
When using a right click selection, no objects will be picked up from the ground. Left click selection will also not pick up tooth traps, armed bee mines and untriggered (rabbit) traps.

  15. MemSpikeFix

Fixes the memory spike which happens when large mods are enabled, which happens due to all mod assets being loaded to RAM regardless of them being used or not.
Most notably, this fixes the crash that may happen when large mods are enabled, due to the total RAM usage exceeding the available RAM (this is most notable in the Windows version of Don't Starve, since it is limited to using at most 2GB of RAM). This crash may present itself with one of the following errors (printed to log.txt):

Error processing render buffer command GenerateMapor

ERROR: HWTexture::DeserializeTexture failed on MinimapBG. glGetError returned 0x505or

out of memorybut may also happen silently, with the game simply crashing with no meaningful information printed to log.txt.
As a side effect, this fix also prevents the large slowdown in the game's startup time caused by having large mods enabled.

  16. Cats N' Dogs - Hound and Catcoon mod

    Workshop Link
This mod allows modification of stats of hounds and catcoons, and the number of teeth required to make a tooth trap, for people that are masochistic. My original line of thinking was "How does a flabby pig fist do more damage than a gigantic hound maw?" (Seriously have you seen that mouth it's enormous). So I changed it.
I also saw people leaving comments on the wiki complaining about how they need to be buffed. And, finally, I once witnessed a catcoon kill a hound. That's just ridiculous.
All stats are adjustable. You don't have to change everything (or anything, but that would defeat the purpose of getting the mod). It makes red hounds immune to fire. I've considered making them explode on death, but that's complicated to pull off properly, so I'm not going to right now.
    Details:
    Hound Health:150
    200
    250
    300

    [*]Hound Damage:
    20
    40
    60
    80

    [*]Hound Speed:
    100%
    125%
    150%
    175%

[*]Hound Attack Period: The amount of time between their attacks. Higher value = less time.
    Normal
    Fast
    Insane

[*]Varg spawning: whether vargs spawn with hounds after day 100.
    True
    False

[*]Trap requirement: how many hound teeth you need to make a tooth trap. Statistically speaking, the number of hounds you need to kill (or survive) to make x amount of tooth traps is multiplied by the number of teeth you need.
    1
    2
    3
    4

    [*]Catcoon Health (RoG)
    150
    100
    75
    50

Note: The first setting of each option is the vanilla value. Setting it to that will basically turn that setting off.
    Other features:
Red hounds are immune to fire.

I am hungry for your feedback! I can and will change things if people give me good suggestions! Don't be afraid to criticize!

  17. Trick-or-Treat

Makes it possible to trick-or-treat at pig and rabbit houses when it's Halloween in Don't Starve. You'll need to dress up in order to receive treats!
Part of the Halloween Mod Challenge
Halloween occurs 83.35% into each summer. With default values, the first Halloween is day 17. After that it, occurs every 36 days (day 53, day 89, etc). On Halloween, dusk is twice as long and night is twice as short. Note: If you are playing the Reign Of Giants DLC, Halloween will occur 2/3 into each Autumn instead
Costumes are worn by equipping a specific combination of items. Any item not part of a costume will detract from it (for example, wearing a miner hat and pickaxe gives you the "miner" costume, but wearing a miner hat, a pickaxe, and a one-man-band will no longer give you the "miner" costume).
The possible costumes are for you to discover. When it's Halloween, your character will announce any costume you put on. If you try something that doesn't work and think it should, let me know in the comments and I'll consider adding it.
The possible treats are: berries, powder cake, fistful of jam, taffy, or a pumpkin cookie (in order of probability). The better your costume (mostly in terms of the rarity of the items worn), the higher your chances are of getting the better treats.
With Camp Cuisine: All Hallows Edition enabled: berries, powder cake, and fistful of jam are replaced by halloween candy, kandy korn, candy apple, and sugar skull

Items sometimes have magical effects on them.
Mod also available via Steam workshop!
All items listed below have a 20% chance to gain a magical effect when they spawn (crafted, found or dropped). Weapons and armorpieces get different effects. The effects on weapons are heavily influenced by the attack power of the weapon, while the armor effects have no particular scaling.
An item that gains a special effect will display a (?) next to its name. This indicates the item is unidentified. Use a Magnifying Glass (available in the Tools crafting tab) on the item to identify what effect is present on the item. Examine the item after it has been identified to get a more detailed explanation. Note that the effect is active whether you identify it or not.
If this mod is activated in mid-game then all existing items in the game will have a 20% chance of recieving an effect. Once an item has an effect it cannot be removed.
