Terra B Welch Posted May 17, 2019 Share Posted May 17, 2019 Heres some pictures of me playing the beta and reaching the new biome in a legit world, cause I wanted to. It all started with me making a world, and simply gathering some materials, I built up a little minibase boat with 5 masts to carry me along, unfortunately I picked a bad spot to place it... It was a long journey finding the biome. I prepared with alot of meatball ingredients. I had this random wortox join me for a little bit, he left when I had to temporarilly close the world due to IRL stuff. Days pass, nights pass, I dodge random sea debris attempting to maintain my boat, close call here. Oh cmon charlie, you are so persistent. More days pass with me sailing slowly, getting bored and thinking it'll become winter before I reach there, I wound up stopping by land again to pick up more ingredients for my crockpot and to make sure I had the materials for a Thermal Stone. Dusk, day 18, I find what I sought, hidden not far off the coast of Dfly's desert, I should've known she was keeping this as a secret, dasdardly giant. At last I can try out this biome in a proper legit attempt. I dumped my sanity into the dumpster with what little sanity killing foods I had and went in. Took a bit of time reforming the altar, it wasnt far from my point of docking. Equipped with something a little more damaging then my pointy stick I explore a bit. Nice troll game, glass axe surrounded by trees in spiderwebs, no thanks. Oh the same axe setpiece a short distance away, rng pls. I'll be honest, I use the screaming man rabbits mod, so when I saw this guy pop out and scream like a man it made me laugh pretty hard. And then winter came... And first thing I see coming off my boat after warming up a thermal stone and making a couple more meatballs are these abominations. And guess what, according to krampus they are innocent, innocent my highney! They're otherworldly horrors! THEY DESERVE TO DIE! As do you krampus, too bad I didnt get that 1% drop... I HEAR PUPPIES! Oh hey a smoldering dead dog. ZOMBIE DOG? (*Queue Fear/Serious theme from Mother 3*) ...They weren't that hard... This guy started following me around as I was exploring, how cute. He got into a fight with another one of them, he ran off shortly after. And that's my little adventure in finding the island and exploring it! Terra B Welch Posted May 20, 2019 Share Posted May 20, 2019 Killing Dfly while getting both scale drops in my modded megabase world, I'm playing as willow while my friend is playing wickerbottom. We both used dark swords, two dark sword players are enough to get the 2nd scale(if both are at least wilson damage) We swapped to hambats after getting the knockdown to save on dark swords. I don my trusty pith hat and enter the moon island. Then suddenly I'm like... OH GOD WHY DID I COME HERE?!?!? WAIT, MAYBE IF I WEAR MY GAS MASK THEY WON'T NOTICE I'VE BEEN ENLIGHTENED! And here's me getting the kiss emote at the wrong frame, was too lazy to take the screenshot again so I used it in the mod. >.< Moon coffee anyone? As for the oasis, I finally found a world, and my friend and I have been working on it. Heres how the central part and kitchen look so far, still trying to get it all nice and fancy.
