The Bone armour in DST doesn't break either so its possibly similar.

its also "Powered" by Nightmare fuel so its more of a Power Shield then an Armour.

Since it's also a backpack this is by design, it just becomes a backpack with perk potential.

It being stuck at 1% occasionally is a bug however.

Well normally I would...it's just that Hamlet takes so hecking long to boot up and for me to generate a world I tend to just not bother.

Hopefully someone else has the patience to take up the mantle for me.

irl there was a snake oil contraption said to ward off flooding rains by just essentially having a large cannon that had no ball just shot gunpowder in the air

of course that was before we had a modern understanding of weather so it really didn't do much
