(Culinary Archipelago World) I was able to provide chests with ingredients and the crock pots themselves, but being a budding chef, I was never taught how to construct the grinding mill or seasoning station, let alone even use them! Gotta leave that stuff to Master Warly. For anyone wondering what is in the bundles, the bundles contain asparagus, peppers, garlic and dragonfruits, all farmed up and kept for Master Warly. (Also yall get to see the pith hat stats for hamlet hats rebalanced. >.<) Anywho, Master Warly comes through the portal, and has borrowed the Budding Chef's beefalo hat for a short while. Upon reaching the home of the Budding Chef, Master Warly switched to a more fitting hat. Master Warly focused on cooking the dishes that Budding Chef WendyTerra needs for her adventure, as well as working his magic with spices. (Yes I recently added a clientside mod that let's me favorite recipes, I've found it rather convenient when I need to make bundling wraps.) The Budding Chef had only managed to scrounge up 3 volt goat horns so far, so he made what he could. Master Warly then proceeded to bundle up the new dishes, and left them at the door to Budding Chef WendyTerra's home. After his work was done, Master Warly returned to the Celestial Portal and made his leave. The Budding Chef returns home to gifts from Master Warly. Winter is almost over, I need to locate the klaus sack and kill klaus, the glowberry mousse will help alot with the fight. Terra B Welch Posted June 4, 2021 Share Posted June 4, 2021 (Culinary Archipelago Pics) Killed klaus right as spring began, I won't lie, I am trash at the klaus fight I brought a bunch of different healing foods due to diminishing returns and me being in a hurry. Klaus is definately one of my favorite boss fights, even if I am bad at him. Also Master Warly's dishes he made me helped. Sadly nothing of any real importance was in the sack's bundling wraps, I got some scales, thick fur and the bundling wrap blueprint I guess. I guess extra wax paper is always nice, and what I really wanted was the figure sketch, so it's a win-win to me. For Spring, I want to get to setting up the new Cawnival for Corvid Goodfeather, then either finally get to building my sculpture area, or prep for ruins. The layout seems to be random and change every time you start a new game... although this mini-game must be the easiest one yet, since it doesn't have any loss condition. Simply go crazy and explore until you find every piece of junk! There is no need to reset once you start playing or chart the layout. Muzarello Posted June 6, 2021 Share Posted June 6, 2021 I always wondered why having a pudgy beef when it's only advantage was sanity and a cute chubby face when I had the the Tam and the Crown, but it restores sanity even when you are mounting so maybe it can be a way to negate sanity drain when fighting with the crown? I'm still testing, maybe I still need to combine it with another piece of sanity restoration. Tea is nice and I might try farming forget me nots if nothing restores the right amount. I spend spring mainly trying to bait this boi to a bait farm plot, and then preping a trip to the ruins for summer. As for summer. I head down to the ruins. I find the metheus setpiece. Find labyrinth not far. Hauled stuff back to metheus(thanks coffee for speeding that up!) By the time I was done preping for Ancient Guardian I was all out of the coffees I brung, not like I was going to use them against AG anyway as I prefer not to abuse that level of speed against bosses. I went to the Labyrinth and found the Ancient Guardian, I brought magiluminessence, thulecite crowns, lazy explorer(just to use as cane) and a ham bat. I went through most the fight sloppilly kiting the boss, but as I neared the end of the fight a group of depth worms spawned... ...and the buggers STOLE MY KILL! Pesky kill stealing worms! I wanted that glory! With AG down, I loot his chest(nothing much, just a thulecite club, pick/axe and some thulecite) and head out. I just wanted AG down this summer for the sketch. I then make my way to the other end of the caves, to the archives. I had to make sure my bad luck didn't repeat itself. Thankfully, no bad luck this time around. Just a typical run of the mill archives. Antlion also decided to drop some rocks on my head, way to leave a mess bucko! By the time I was done with all I wanted to do there was only a couple days left of summer, I spent those days hauling everything back home. Speaking of my home, it looks like an episode of hoarders right now, I really should clean that up. And reminding myself to do that next time... ...is what the reminder sign is for! Wanted to do the cawnival in spring, but eh, darned lord of the fruit flies not spawning when I wanted him to ended up being annoying. I've still got more to do, dragonfly and bearger need to be killed off again next time I play, dragonfly for the scales and bearger cause I don't want that pest roaming around my world, once those are out of the way I'll likely grow some crops while I clean house, especially since lord of the fruit flies is no longer an issue.
