mathem99 Posted June 22, 2021 Share Posted June 22, 2021 I've been working on a mod for single-player Don't Starve that allows the player to build a bunch of unused decorations. I'm not sure if I'm gonna scrap it or publicize it just yet, because I don't know if anyone even WANTS this kinda mod in the game. I'm posting a few screenshots here just as a demonstration and if people want it I will release it. The very first screenshot (with Webber) was the one I took in my megabase while I wanted to test how the mod feels while playing. The rest with Wes I did while using creative mode. Terra B Welch Posted June 23, 2021 Share Posted June 23, 2021 More culinary archipelago pictures. Starting off with overpreparing and killing Malbatross. I may have brought one of my 28 spicy volt goat jellies and she happened to be wet... Thankfully because of using a weather pain to make her shed a ton of feathers, I managed to get exactly 48 feathers, enough for two sails. One more sculpture added to the sculpture zone, 4 remain. As for my boat, it got two fancy new sails. Hope you like your new crow's nest Ron! I decided to spend summer doing ocean stuff, I went to crab king and cleared out the sea stacks to make it easier to sail in and get the tribute after crab king is defeated. After some sailing around, I ended up going back home, I then decided to make a dummy boat and some bridges to start up a little area for harvesting barnacles, lucky for me there was a natural sea weed area not far from the cherry island I could use. I ended up making 6 barnacle nigiris, not for myself, but rather for Alter, yes I said Alter. So one of the mods that is in this world is the classic Fish Farm mod, however I have it set up that I have to get the knowledge for it by bringing items to the celestial altar, so I'm effectively bringing Alter some gifts in exchange for the knowledge. The items required aren't that hard to get, but the idea is getting fish farms is locked behind going around the ocean and doing ocean things, I like it anywho. Going to need to farm bottles for the specktackler box, the salt on the other hand will be easy enough. Alter will get their sushi, salt and fancy tackle box soon hopefully, and I'll be able to set up some fish farms! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Terra B Welch Posted June 25, 2021 Share Posted June 25, 2021 Another autumn, this time with a late bearger spawn, as I had her fail to spawn due to me trying to run to the moonstone island, she tried to spawn while I was still on the bridge. So while waiting for beager to attempt to spawn again. I planted some trees. Day 19 of 25, Bearger spawns proper this time, and I take her through the newly grown trees, I loved watching her just steamroll all the trees down. XD Sadly she was quick to get caught up by treeguards, a good like 5 of them or so spawned from that area where I planted trees. This was all she cleared, my planted trees were near the savannah . Glomglom, Glommer and Chester all sleeping next to eachother. It's so cute. >.< Also decided to get a spectackler box, using my "50% off coupon" to reduce the price to 4 bottles! Also hauled most of what I needed for crab king to crab king, idk if the boat that is meant for the lightning rod is far enough away to not get CK's attention, but close enough that it'll prevent any lightning issues. I went and got some more salt while I was at it, so I was able to get the fish farm blueprint. Oh and for anyone who cares, I took a picture of the custom hunger quote for budding chef, it's in the spoiler. But I've more culinary archipelago pics, and this one starts off with... ...a crab king kill, it has been done. Early spring, the Crab King falls. I proceed to take the cracked pearl back to Pearl, and the tribute back to the lunar island. Have another one of my quotes, this time for the cracked pearl, kinda bland I know, but eh. The pearl is returned to Pearl. With the pearl returned, all that is left is to haul back the tribute. Stumbling across one of @Hornete's currents along the way, had to lower a sail cause both sails out causes some horrible bugging out, at least with the caravel. the Lunar Island is approached... ...and the tribute is returned to its rightful place. Two down, one to go, just the archives stuff and some searching left... Then moonstorms... Oh, and I made sure to add the sketch to the collection too. That's all for now! Will likely do more cawnival stuff as well as spring farming. For the cawnival I want to get some of the decorations mainly to put alongside the roads, I thought that'd be cool, but that's for next time! Decided to take another break from day to day chores and working towards moonstorms, I went and played more cawnival games. I ended up getting some of the mini trees with the tickets I earned, so I attempted to do some decorating around the big cherry tree. So have a picture of a 2nd farm plot I threw together to play around with crop combos while I use the smaller one for combos I'm used to. I gotta try and get pomegranate, durian and watermelon seeds this spring, then I'll have all crop seeds. I want to also make an area with produce scales and get one of every giant as a smaller goal.
