[Game Update] - 445609

Changes

  • The watering cans will now put out all nearby fires and be used to rejuvenate withered bushes.
  • Added new Vignettes.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed The Lord of the Fruit Flies sometimes not doing anything when spawned.
  • Fixed the plant nutrients stress test from always passing when the ground type is not farming soil.
  • Wormwood and Wurt no longer suffer a sanity drain for wearing wet items.
  • Improved heavy lifting visuals for Giant Onions and Giant Corn.
  • Fixed weighing Giant veggies not storing the heaviest veggie in your Plant Registry (Unfortunately this change is not retroactive, so you’ll need to re-weigh them for this to take effect).
  • Fixed Esc having inconsistent behavior on the Plant Registry.
  • Fixed unicode text not rendering correctly on some Linux computers.

Notes for Modders:

  • The finiteuses component will now add and remove the tag “usesdepleted”.
  • The wateringcan component has been removed from the game.

Will Wurt's and Wormwood's quotes about being too wet be changed with this change? Wurt's quotes used to say she liked wetness but were changed after a bug report. These are the old quotes:

	ANNOUNCE_DAMP = "Ahh... wetter feel better, florp!",
	ANNOUNCE_WET = "Mermfolk love water, florp!",
	ANNOUNCE_WETTER = "Feels good on scales!",
	ANNOUNCE_SOAKED = "Aaah, splish-splash!",

and these are the new ones:

	ANNOUNCE_DAMP = "Bit soggy...",
	ANNOUNCE_WET = "Feel too soggy now...",
	ANNOUNCE_WETTER = "Too wet... even for Mermfolk, florp.",
	ANNOUNCE_SOAKED = "Is too much water! Too much!",

I don't think Wormwood's quotes were ever changed (and they probably don't need to be considering items still slip out of his hands), but here they are:

	ANNOUNCE_DAMP = "Rain!",
	ANNOUNCE_WET = "Little wet",
	ANNOUNCE_WETTER = "Really wet",
	ANNOUNCE_SOAKED = "Too wet!",

As soon as this update dropped, I suddenly was removed from the Return of Them beta, and it's no longer listed in Steam under the betas that can be joined. Anyone have ideas why that may be and what I can do to get access to the beta again?

LoL.. uhm- there currently is no active Beta available (and there likely won’t be again till at earliest late January) your no longer in the Reap What You Sow Beta because the update is no longer in Beta.

You'll have to wait until the next Beta to join.

because the beta was just for testing new content to be released. today that content was released, so there's nothing to test on the beta. it's all on the main branch. you can play that now

Does this mean it can water Wild Crops too now? Kind of silly if it can effect everything with its water except wild crops.
