This is sad news for me, I like feeling like Merlin growing a field of crops- I expected Wicker to get a Nerf.. but I didn’t expect that until after her Rework came out.

So far out of all the Reworks released- my favorites seem to be Wendy, Willow & Woodie- R.I.P Mighty Wicker.. We knew Ye Well.

That’s the problem, she didn’t need a hard nerf, the book itself just needed to be harder to craft, probably even expanding into having to brew recipes in the crockpot that utilizes frog legs and Batilisks wings.

And okay maybe I’m being a little Biased because I use the Bewitching skin set and the Creepy Cauldron skin.. but my point is If Something is OP It doesn’t need to be nerfed in 3 different ways.

Wendy now wanders around in graveyards gathering Mourning Glory for potion crafting ingredients- Why does Wicker need to be so heavily nerfed?

Why can’t Wicker use Slurtle Slim in her book recipes.. giving Wicker more defined role beyond “easily craft Applied Horticulture book, Spam fields of OP crops effortlessly.”

She didn’t need a hard nerf, if something is OP let it be OP but.. make sure that OP is rewarding and feels like you actually put effort into achieving that OP Status.

As with every update: I’ll wait until it’s out and I can judge it for myself, but just the Heavy Wicker nerf alone makes me Sad already.

i made, when trouble waters beta was release, a warly world...

Edit: since the screenshot seems confusing i will explain that the farms are destroyed by me. I destroyed them because i wanted that space for the new ones and i found funny seeing all these farms gone when i just finished them (i didnt play this world so much since i made it for playing only when klei release content in beta)

If you have farm they will remain if you use that world in the beta. They will not be destroyed

• Survivors can now plow fields and sow seeds to grow the crops of their dreams
• Each vegetable has their own unique plant with preferred growing seasons and type of nutrients
• Stay close and tend to your crops and you will be rewarded.
• Neglecting crops won't be the death of them, but you might regret it.
• Be sure to cull weeds before they become a problem
• Use the Gardeneer Hat to research plants and track your progress via the Plant Registry 
• Farm like the Ancients with the Premier Gardeneer Hat and learn your plants’ every desire

Bug Fixes

• Players can now combine stacks of objects when the target is floating in the ocean.

Changes

• Disease has been removed from transplanted plants
• The random plant chosen from Seeds is now affected by the season
• Feeding a Bird in the Birdcage a veggie, will return one seed of the same plant.
• Increased the amount of time flowers will stay fresh in the End Table
• The End Table now accepts Forget-Me-Lots and Lune Tree Blossoms
• Adjusted the Bunnyman’s loot table
• Birds in the Birdcage will now eat raw monster meat but not cooked eggs

Wormwood Changes

• Is not affected adversely by the Spiny Bindweed and Firenettles
• Can determine a plant’s needs without the use of technology
• Can still plant seeds anywhere, but some of the plant’s needs will not be met unless in a farm plot

Applied Horticulture Changes

• Affects up to 10 plants
• Transplanted plants, that require fertilizing, will have an extra harvest consumed
• Adjusted the recipe

We're going to try to get Winter's Feast out for you all in a couple weeks. As with Hallowed Nights, we don't have any real changes to it this year since the team is focused on content updates. But we'll have some more free stuff and some new skins as well. Including, new skins added to the Snowfallen collection! 
Shortly after that we expect the content update to release toward the middle of December and we'll make sure to tidy everything up before we head out on holiday break.
