So while Klei's currently on the trend of releasing previously unused skins (mad scientist and the new hallowed nights collection), let's speculate what skins/collection they might release next (hopefully after snowfallen and verdent). Spoiler (Idk if this one has already been repurposed for another skin. I know the mourning veil was released as a Funko exclusive skin) (Not entirely sure if this is official art of just a dev doodle) (Mark of the Ninja theme?) (I think these are easily reenacted with existing clothing items) Portraits for certain skins: Spoiler (Unused GoH portraits?) Those were all I could find (and I found more than I expected ^^; ) Let me know if I missed any. For now let the speculating begin. Alarsin Posted November 5, 2018 Share Posted November 5, 2018 In my opinion, most of these skins are either impossible to implement or are plain bad. For example, take Samurai Wigfrid. Her face is the same and the only part that is interesting about her is the helmet. But how are you supposed to have a helmet (and it's a big one) that is a part of the skin? How is it gonna look like with other head (not skins, but in-game) items? Same goes for Military Wolfgang, but I would love to see the Pickelhaube as a head-slot item reskin. And then there're concepts like Orphan Willow or Young Wickerbottom. Maybe it's just my opinion but I don't think anyone would actually wear them. TurtleKitty Posted November 5, 2018 Share Posted November 5, 2018 I think Wendy's Gorge skin is a redesign of the Funeral dress, with the hat repurposed as the funko skin. Warriors of The Ages would be a cool skin event, a samurai reskin of Wigfrid's helm would be amazing. The child skins are very cute and I'm hoping they end up being used but, since it isn't popular in the fanbase, not holding my breath. The hallowed skins like Frog Webber, Jekyll-Hyde Wolfgang, WereWoodie, and InvisiWilson will probably come next year. The robo-reskins could be for a mecha based event. It would be interesting to play as robot versions, see how the perks are changed. The most likely skins to be released would be the Harlequin Wes and Circus Webber, due to the circus drops going on right now. I like the Samurai Wigfrid, the devs could modificate the body armor, keep the helmet and add a mask like some veteran samurais. The reason being the "realistic" route klei is taking with the skins. Like notice, for example, the forge and gorge skins are what the characters automatically take on as they're teleported into their respective dimensions. Hallowed nights skins being costumes that the survivors make for fun, Triumphant being what happened to them on the nightmare throne, maybe a bit similar to roseate skins. Though it's still possible that klei may release these later it just doesn't seem all that likely. Well, the Samurai Wigfrig could fit with the (next) Hallowed event, also the Kabuto (samurai helmet) as item skin for Battle Helm and the Katana (samuria sword) as item skin for Battle Spear. With the possibility that other players use Kobuto&Katana too would look funny and cool along with Samurai Wigfrid. (Wickerbottom have skin for his book The End Is Nigh already, so, Wigfrig could have something too) Also, Wigfrid without his samurai helmet maybe would keep his "mouth-mask" and the style of a Onna Bugeisha. (Onna Bugeisha were small groups of women allowed to get a similar training like males samurais) And actually I like a lot the idea of everybody being a group of robots. I could also completely see an event based around them where they go through the portal and every character ends up a young version of themselves. DragonMage156 Posted November 6, 2018 Author Share Posted November 6, 2018 A couple ways they could do Wendy and Webber I thought is either make them younger (Webber before the spider and maybe Wendy before her depression??), go the opposite way and make them older (but I doubt Klei would do something like that with a skin collection) or use the robots. Kinda odd only Wendy and Webber have robot concepts, no?
