Items without skin

Recommended Posts

I don't think the Science Machine and the Cookie Cutter Shell are used anywhere near enough to justify making skins for them.

The Napsack, similarly, is mostly used as a way to duplicate Shroom Skin, so I don't think it's of particularly high priority.

The Alchemy Engine, on the other hand, could really use a skin that doesn't require sheer luck or untold riches to get.

Now, the Moggles and Insulated Pack... YES. PLEASE. The Insulated Pack, in particular, has received a huge buff in the last year and is now one of the best late game items for winter/summer. And I'd love to see a skin for Moggles that also changes the night vision color.

There are skins for the Garland (x5), Grass Suit (x2), Krampus Sack, Life Giving Amulet (x2), Luxury Fan, Marble Suit (x2), Piggy Back, Pinetree Pioneer Hat (x3), Pretty Parasol, Rabbit Earmuffs (x2), Straw Hat (x3), Telltale Heart (x4), The End is Nigh!, Thermal Stone, Thulecite Club, Thulecite Suit (x4), Top Hat and Prestihatitator (x9), Torch (x5), Trap (x2), Willow's Lighter, Winter Hat (x6), Campfire, Directional Sign (x2), End Table (x3), Rainometer, Tent (x2), Thermal Measurer, Wardrobe (x3), Broodling (x3), Ewelet, Giblet (x2), Glomglom (x3), Kittykit (x2), Vargling (x3), Star and Moon Caller's Staves, Fur Roll (x3), Feather Hat (x2), Fashion Melon, Deconstruction Staff, Cat Cap (x3), Beekeeper Hat (x2), Bee Mine, and Bat Bat.

Especially considering the Prestihatitator, the magic equivalent of the science machine, has nine different skins for it, I disagree with you completely about those items not deserving skins. If the useless Garland and Grass Suit can get seven skins throughout them and the ridiculously rare Krampus Sack can get a skin of its own why should I not have a skin for my funny ocean hat?

I want skin for bee queen crown and shelmet, those are silly/ugly looking, but they are so useful!

yes I agree!

Everyone thinks that the skin that needs to be refilled is different, but I think klei should consider adding skins to items without skin in the future. I don't care how long it takes. As long as the refill is complete.

dont forget the birdcage... too many birdcage...

I know reskins don't have to make sense, but i feel like beequeen crown and shelmet should be as they are on the mobs, feels wierd otherwise. The one exception i make to this is the tam, but probably because i'm just bored of how much i've worn it over time. That krampus basket is also meh imo.

I agree the items OP posted deserve some love, reskinning birds however would make the sweeper op.

Oh, the Siesta Lean-To SO needs at least one skin. Not only does it not have _any_ while the tent now has multiple, but the standard one is so raggedy and ugly!  It looks like it wouldn't actually protect you from anything...

Look, if I'm gonna be trying to shelter away from the sun when it's so hot it can SPONTANEOUSLY CATCH THINGS ON FIRE, I at least want a _whole_ curtain to shade me, mmmkay?

I don't know what this has to do with anything, but it involves a kittyfluff so I'm here for it.  (Unless you mean you want a kittykit skin like this...?)

This is just to share my favorite cat pictures, not related to dst skin;)

Sometimes I like to use pictures to express my mood or meaning.

I'd personally like it if all campfire skins could also apply to the endothermic fire pit and all normal tools skins could be used for opulent versions, you know similar to how spear and stave skins work.

I want more skin variety in general to make bases look more unique. We have a circus theme already and  of course the crystal theme we have now. But id ike to see more items get skins to fill out partial themes like industrial skins to go with winona fence and the meat hook, nature skins to go with the tent frond and shadow manipulator skin, etc.
