I’m not in the beta so I haven’t got to play the content yet but from their name it sounds like they should spit something at you. They are also a crafting ingredient for the Water Pump. Oh and they only spawn near Sea Weeds. Ahh so they made Firepit useless and you need to build the new Boat Lamp to avoid them snuffing out your light source NICE! Don’t click spoiler below if you’ve yet to play the Hamlet! Spoiler I guess it’s similar to those prick Pig Guards in the Hamlet DLC.. I couldn’t make it back into town before dark hit and I only had one precrafted but not yet placed firepit, the Guard came rushing over to it and snuffed it out!!! I was shocked and caught by surprise! Luckily I was still able to follow said Guard around with his torches light throughout the night.
