Not only for giving us beta folks Hamlet for free, that's awesome, but also for all of your hard work on the expansion and keeping Don't Starve alive. 5 years after discovering it, DS is still one of my top favorite games. Do you plan any *big* performance fixes though? Only *big* performance fixes would allow me to play, because I really couldn't do so during beta, Hamlet definitely is less wooden PC-friendly compared to the rest of bunch. If not then is there any way to give my copy away to someone who could play it? Everything in the game looks beautiful, it was really fun trying to learn how everything works, the difficulty was just right for me. The exclamations the pig town dwellers come out with are hilarious. The beasties are adorable. The trading mechanism is really fun. I can't wait to play more! I mean I'm not mad or anything, I was willing to pay anyways -and I think it deserves more than 7$- , but it makes me sad missing it by 2 hours. Thanks for the update. queenb33 Posted October 30, 2018 Share Posted October 30, 2018 As someone who has been busy working away and totally missed the beta I want to say the following: I have watched a number of YouTubers publishing some lets plays of this latest DLC and closely followed the forums - have fallen head over heels with this new DLC. Whilst gutted that I missed the beta boat I will gladly pay for Hamlet. As always the content and thought that has gone into this from Klei's team is astounding and the support from the testers wonderful, I can't wait to play and am so happy to read that the alpha has been bought forward and find it very heartening to see that all the testers have been provided with the copy for free - this is a fantastic and well deserved gesture.
