ADM Posted April 29, 2020 Share Posted April 29, 2020 Weird stuff can happen in here, once I had the ruins with absolutely nothing generated inside, best you can do remediate is the command c_regenerateshard() in caves... or just respawn the chest, depend of how much you did down here. I've completely cleared it at this point, it's no big deal anyway, I'm not missing much, I at least have a pseudoscience station to work with, though it's gonna take alot of thulecite duping to get enough crowns and suits for what I want to do. Terra B Welch Posted April 30, 2020 Share Posted April 30, 2020 Another batch of screenies from the Feast and Famine world! I did some sailing, found the Crab King who wasn't far from the FaF trader. I spent the rest of autumn sailing, then preping lures and floats to go spawn the malbatross, I managed to find a malbatross fish area just off the shore of the dragonfly desert, so of course that was my choice of spot to spawn the malbatross. I fought the Malbatross early winter, and killed it, but not without it completely trashing my boat. Man the weather pain is nice against that freaking bird. (Though I accidently wasted it entirely, welp) But on the plus side, new masts! Later that winter I sailed around back to Pearl's island, had a very close encounter with the world edge and sea stacks though, that was a needle that had to be threaded! Thankfully the anchor made it managable. A bit more playing through of winter, I was about to stop playing in order to take a stretch break when suddenly... Game: Here have a Deerclops. I Kill the deerclops despite not being completely prepared for it, rip sanity, not like I had it anyway. I continue back to my home when suddenly. Game: Here have some hounds too! Game please! Gosh I am lucky to be Wendy here. >.< I returned to my house and promptly waited for the next day before stopping the server. Will continue another time. There were so many feathers and krampi here that the server was lagging pretty bad. But hey, good luck came to us this time! One of those krampi dropped a sack! It paid off in the end! ADM Posted May 1, 2020 Share Posted May 1, 2020 So I wanted to try out for the first time an Ornery Beefalo in order to fight all kind of boss while riding and see if it's cool... (and first time playing Wendy seriously as well, amazing refresh, one of my favourite character rn.) I didn't expected it to be this fun and strong ! So I really recommand you to tame a Beefalo for this sort of thing, it only takes you a season to tame it and explore new ways for fighting... or crying if Beefy_Boi_MK2 dies. ((also fully killed Klaus in 53 secs last winter as Wolfgang with a spicy Volt Goat Chaud-Froid but I don't like rushing things like this.)) Maybe it's only worth the try in mid game when you have someone else with you, I had some extra help from my buddy @Steamerclaw who did all the agriculture required for 2 beefs, now it's all about nitre and twigs... Starting off in Winter with some crab king prep, brought the pearl, gems and most the equipment to the crab king boat. Prepared a lightning rod too as I'll be doing the fight in spring as planned. Bundling wrap has 2 spicy volt goat jellies, only items missing here are the darts and dark swords, both which I will bring when I do the fight. On my way back I noticed my lightning rod somehow glitched off my boat. I thought this was fixed back in turn of tides. Built a replacement one anywho. Stumbled across a few bottles during my sailing trip, one led to a sunken chest just off the shore of the cherry forest island! So I went and hauled it on up. I took it home and smashed it open, and suprise! Ruins stuff popped out! Oh and a lantern too. Haha. More crab king prep will be done next I play, I plan to fight Crab King in spring, once crab king has been made wet from enough spring rain. SonicDen220 Posted May 2, 2020 Share Posted May 2, 2020 These are the results of having two frog rains in a row. For the first one, some frogs killed a goose and moslings. As for the second one, Abigail with a distilled vengeance did all the work. But that's not all, because afterwards we had a third frog rain in a row. For this one I had to use 1 distilled vengeance, then heal Abi with spectral cure-all, then use an unyielding draught and then heal her again. 400+ frog legs in less than 5 days! (Was late on the screenshot, profanity censored) I had my friend sail the main boat away so there'd be no risk of it getting destroyed in the event I messed up. The fight itself was done solo, using the same strategy I practiced in my practice world. We hauled up the tribute and collected the loot, then proceeded to head back home before I had to take a stretch break IRL. One stretch break later, I proceed to take tle celestial tribute to the moon island. I socket it next to the original altar, near the krampus farm. I then proceeded to head to Pearl's island again, stalled just off the shore until a crab rain that was happening ceased. Had Abigail mop up the frogs, then proceeded to give Pearl the craked pearl once day hit. Dialogue in the spoiler below, do not open the spoiler if you don't wish to be spoiled on said dialogue. Spoiler That's all for now, been having fun with the new shell beach turf in combination with moon island turf, I'll show off the base again once I've set up the turf how I want it. After all I hadn't done one since the rework... There, shes dead again, can I go to sleep now? *Yawn* I guess with that fancy scaled furnace, Glommer and I will sleep well tonight. Zzzzz... (This was my first dragonfly solo rush on a public server since Wendy's rework, the worldgen on this world was begging for a rush, everything was just right for one, pig king was through a wormhole in dragonfly desert, and dragonfly desert plus spider quarry were right next to spawn, making material gathering really easy, the server this time was Vanilla Autumn, yep, another diverse server, and like always, I had that itch to kill dragonfly again, an itch I usually get shortly before I go to bed.
