Share all your videos, compilations, images or art you made throughout the years with this game and the friends you met. and most importantly how many friends you found throughout this game. I've found very special people thanks to DST (pls don't ban me mods) @LongShot @Imminentxd @FTLAK @__IvoCZE__ @DragonMage156 @Griver84 @CarlZalph (The order of people ain't sorted by anything) and more but that would be a very long list and also the awesome developers. Thank you for being here for us @JoeW @JanH and all the devs you've been all feeding use with stuff for the game so it would not starve we all appreciate you! Klei has went through a lot of years and i'm impressed how Jeff and Jamie and others keep up the good work especially when someone specialized with Lua like Zark joins the crew. kittem Posted April 20, 2021 Share Posted April 20, 2021 im so glad i got into don't starve, when i first discovered it, i feared that i would buy it and never play it. cue 550 hours later... while i have spent a majority of those hours doing the forge and gorge (which, i havent done the forge in months. i hope the community for it is still active, i never seem to get those pings in public servers for the forge role anymore) the forge is honestly one of my favorite game modes and im not sure why. alongside awesome forgers, i've beaten red/green light, double trouble, and hard mode! and the gorge, we would do matches a lot, even 2 hour long matches... and the game itself, the characters, the artstyle, the environment/character design... and the fans! so much fanart that has inspired me and made me so happy hooray for dst!!!!! Then DST came out i got it right away but no one on PS was using mics. so i went back to Don't Starve. Missing playing with other a few years ago I tried again at Don't Starve together. It was a blast again and continued improvement in content. I want to say thank you for those who have joined my games and helped me along the way. I also want to thank Klei for all of the support, fixes, additions to this game. @Clifford W. I meet you and am so excited to continue our adventures together. Thank you for being a huge supporter of the players and the game. All of the added things you have made fro streamers have made it more exciting to play and watch. After I started playing it I was genuinely hoping for a multiplayer version because I wanted to play with my friends which I didn't have. And then I saw an ad for Don't Starve Together. Now I've played DST ever since the beta released. I met my best friend through the game a couple years after playing it. While I may not like the modding community and a couple decisions the company has made you know what I'm talking about I still enjoy playing the game. Ah, I remember when that version still has the Sanity above the two other stats.. and me dying to Charlie, eating green caps and simply ignoring insanity altogether. Then, I get to know the actual game years later. After that, I heard of DST, of course. Too bad, I could only buy DST when I was old enough... (R.I.P bottomless firepit for me) I met LOTS of people in DST, thanks to the team for the game and updates! Pictures where I'm specifically playing with a Steam/forum friend (rather than with a rando, or someone I already knew from real life) are rarer, though. But here's a good early one: ...and you know, I just now realised that I've never uploaded this one to the forums before. Huh. Anyway, here's me (Wigfrid) and (as he was known on Steam at the time) Asian Sckroob (Wilson), one of my oldest Steam friends, at the first successful Together base I made myself (as opposed to jumping into an already-established Klei Official server). Kitty, who used to post on the forums sometimes (maybe still lurks?) was the other one who helped build it. I've also got a picture celebrating the first time I made it to Day 200 and that was definitely partly due to their help, but my character was the only one on-screen when I thought to snap the picture. Anyway this is from July 10, 2016. I think my earliest regular DS pictures are from early March, maybe late February? ...I have no idea why the fridge is in the doorway. : P MOST of the names on my Steam friends list come from playing together well in the game, meeting here on the forum and then friending each other there, or both. Like, I'd say at least 90 percent, and that might be a low estimate. Only once Metheus rolled around did this Rose Appraiser buy the game, but no regrets were made in this purchase. So many wonderful memories were made playing this game and watching/theorizing about it. The event that this Rose Appraiser remembers most fondly is the Gorge, it was so marvelous and even if it is unlikely to occur again it still hold a place in the heart. This Rose Appraiser enjoys playing DST and is excited to see what the future holds for this wonderful game!Still not certain about the strange energy that seems to permeate whenever we play any sort of game... Perhaps that letter Our Mistresses received holds the answer... No matter... They always know best...
