Is it possible to merge the animations with assets? Specifically - the sleeping animation on the comfy bed, the eating animation at the table, the baby squeaky puft being pampered at the grooming station? MF99K Posted December 13, 2018 Share Posted December 13, 2018 With the lore in regards to Jackie/Jodi, my guess at this point is that Jackie realized at some point that the planet was screwed, either as a result of something that went wrong with the temporal bow, or something she knew about before hand, but she didn't want to tell anyone for fear they'd freak out. A majority of the colonization project probably revolved around finding a way to save some small portion of humanity, even if in a genetically altered state. Striving for efficiency and secrecy, Jackie got distant and probably sometimes antagonistic towards her peers due to stress related to trying to finish the project before the apocalypse. Ethical concerns were basically out the window since Jackie probably felt that it was more important to save humanity by any means necessary. Project was probably funded primarily through the food printer and/or the temporal bow. Jodi most likely understood the objective to colonize other planets as a way to help the human race live on different (and less smoggy) planets, as well as safeguard against extinction, but probably was not aware that there was an imminent threat to the planet and therefore was much more critical of Jackie's questionable practices. Jackie stole Jodi's genetic information as an attempt to "save her," and possibly willingly sacrificed the chance of her own genetic information being downloaded in the process. Still not sure exactly how any of this would fit into the game if we are playing as Jodi, as there would be the question of why only one Jodi per colony, why can't we see her, why can we see the entire colony at once, why is she basically invincible compared to other dupes, etc. 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think that Jodi's consciousness was placed in a computer or something else that commands all of the dupes. Is there anything that could tell us what that shield around earth is from? But at the same time I'm terrified that if I do that then I'll never be able to unsee all of those missing limbs. Honestly, you guys have no idea just how often I have to go in and add all of the missing body parts just so that I don't eat my own hand in a fit of OCD rage. The only thing that's pink is this: And that's basically why the hair is magenta. The only thing that's pink is this: Didn't say ALL of them were pink, this actually shows what I'm talking about better because I forgot that you can actually see where the R and B channels are being used on the shirt. Again, I don't know that much about Unity and how the pipeline works since I've only done stuff with Unreal, but it looks like they're using A as alpha for the whole asset (which I should really do more often myself), B as alpha for the inside of the body, and R as alpha for the inside of the shirt.
