He returned to his feet, brushed himself off, and held his left arm in the air. Then he used his right to guide it to a steady aim at the ceiling of the god's mouth. Once more she jerks backwards, in an attempt to retreat. Meritursas' body hits the rim of her shell and hooks her in place as he viciously tears at her flesh. She feels herself peeling away at an alarming rate. At any second, she'll be without cover completely, her organs exposed to this... thing. He wasn't a savage; he had no idea this sad, sickly creature could have obtained such a status; but all the same...he had nearly upset the balance of an entire race. What did that liquid do to it!? He set the Markless creature down and inspected his now un functional fur. There must be some way to reverse this! But what if there wasn't and he was stuck like this? She peered into the water when it came from, the light of the new tursai's eyes barely lighting the depths, and all three pairs of her eyes widened. There were so many glitters, all shimmering under the waves like stars. Her head quickly darted around from shiny spot to shiny spot. Her breathing grew more rapid. There were green ones, and blue ones, and red ones, and oh so many yellow ones. So many shinys. So many shinys. He the summoned two knives, one of which he stabbed into the boards in front of her. He then backed up, and stuck the knife towards her. ". -. --. .- .-. -.. .!" We was gonna watch while eating the rest of his fish but a thought occurred to him: does Angelle even know how to sword fight? Can she even hold a sword that small? The father is the Valtisas, and the mother is the Aitivalku. The mom takes care of the babies, raising them through larvaehood into adults, and the dad stays mostly in the background, staying in a wide radius around her and keeping her safe from any potential threats. These two parents are essentially a very carefully-maintained version of natural selection. Any Tursai can become an Aitivalku or Valtisas by killing the current one and taking their title; of course, warranted they're in the same species. "Well... done, Malli! Do you think... It will return?" She asked. (also how exactly is Malii holding Viridis/Trevor? Like in her arms or just on her head im having trouble picturing the scene ahah) -- "Oh boy." Cinis said, and sticked his hand in the pit Kate just created and fell into. He grabbed her by her clothes with two fingers and put her on the deck again. "You should be cautious with where you apply fire, little girl." He advised and looked down at Kate.
