What do you use green gems for?

Recommended Posts

Well, I don't really do much fancy cave/ruin related stuff...but I think if I had all the color gems including green, I'd probably make a rainbow gem display in my base or something.  Maybe put each one on its own end table (using a mod), so moles don't keep trying to eat them.  I had a collection kinda like that in Sims 3, too, so that'd be a nice callback.  :)

...I mean if I got MORE than one of the rarer colors of gems I'd probably start actually using them for stuff, yeah, but it's way more "me" to be like:  "Hey everyone!  Look at my random gem rainbow!"  Lol.

...Notorious

duping toad skin and dragon scales

duping malba feathers and strident tridents if i didnt got enough and making malba sails and tridents with half cost

before the change to the malba bill sometimes i used them to get a new one by decon a waterfall can

refreshing pan flutes

getting honey combs from beequeen crowns to wax giant veggies

decon CC crown for infinity light

decon telelocator focus that are under a clay varg/hound or pig/hound moon statues (you cant hammer them since the statue blocks you)

making thulecite armors and clubs at half cost before killing fw (duping is for peasants :P)

reducing the cost of some weather pains and decon them and morning stars when they are at low % to get the horn back

decon FW loot to get bones to make lamps (but usually i just fish eels or deep bass)

idk if still working but green amulet used to work for the cost of pearl's shop

orange and green gems are, sadly, the only loot that is worth in late for how useful they are

Ammys are used for weather pains, strident trident if i want rocks cleared, staves are used mostly to perserve rare things like tridents or lunar crown shards, but otherwise they kinda just sit there. its the mentality of rare items in rpg games: "what if i need this later?"

I place them around the outside of the Crystaline Alchemy Engine so it looks like the gems that were in the engine filled past the brim & poured out all over the ground, I don’t have to worry about other players stealing them because I keep most my worlds password locked & play alone.

for toad skins first and foremost, but also salt, tridents, scales generally for things that you have to go out of your way to get, but could multiply if you have 1 of them at home.

Thankfully I'm not using them every time I lose my clean sweeper anymore.

Pig houses, bunny houses, thulecite gear/ancient staffs, thulecite duping.

Idk why ruins rushers never consider on bringing green amulets for building more houses. It's prolly most efficient use to provide base with meat and mediocre workers.

the usual expensive stuff but also the first 10-20 bunny hutches to kickstart bunny puffs production at/for bee queen

Same. Also if something big like a pig village or bunny village happens to burn down due to accidents, I deconstruct some of the houses since deconstructing burned houses still returns the full loot to rebuild.

really? I usually assume that they just give back 1/2 resources after burnt.
