Some redistributables like .net framework will have been updated, if you have a lot of games installed you'll have had a list of dozens of updates this morning but only one or two of them will have downloaded any data since it's shared files. I woke up today and saw a bunch of my games on steam all got updated or update pending. Something weird happened and I don't think its Klei specifically that released an update. I think its some code related to steam that was updated, not related to the games themself. None of the games had patchnotes whatsoever, and thats unsual for them.
