What item you think is OP?

How many heads, that many ideas..

 

My take based on the sheer number of Willies and Webbies munching shoelaces out there in pubs done in by them fuzzballs: Catcoons! Clearly those balls of fur are Terminators in disguise, much op very wowey! *HIC*

Hambat, obviously! One of the best damage dealing items which has unlimited uses! Nerfing its damage would've fixed that, but there tonns of things that need rebalancing and none of it is coming. So meh.

Also thermal stone (since it doesn't care about your insulation and gives free light which doesnt even cost you sanity (even if it did, still op))

Blue mushrooms! They give too much health for how common and easy to get they are. I never crafted healing items. Well, I did once back in DS, but just once and just to check it out :)

Butterfly wings! Yield too much for how common they are. You can especially notice that once you cant have any during winter.

Cacti! They make you never care about sanity giving items/things. Can use green mushrooms instead, but those regrow only at rain, while cacti are always available.

I don't think meatballs are really OP since people spend alot of time to make those. Im getting more food value by just roaming the world. They also restore like no health and spoil fast. Honey ham is just as easy to make(2 meats, 1 honey 1 filler) and restores more, lasts longer, health alot (and is burnable for whatever reason o_O). Its only downside is longer cooking time but 1 minute is whatever.

Applied Horticulture book is kinda garbage. I mean, sure, if you are carrying 10 wolfgangs who just sit at base its the only thing thats gonna help ya. But as I was saying, roaming yeilds tonns of food. I usually allow myself to be peckish even.

I agree that catcoons are just too cheap&always ready meat supply, which makes them OP. Their melee attack is actually scary since it has huge range, but they loose aggro quickly and have super low health. Their hisssing animation is their main weakness.

Torch and lantern are too OP as well. Lighting up things instantly, giving light on demand. Too cheap. There was a great mod remaking campfires and torch mechanics to be more realisting which was kinda cool. But lantern is just too good. Having it yield alot less of light would help.

They get stunlocked.

some people here are confusing useful vs OP

all the items mentioned here require you to fight for it.. it's not for free... 

so if it has the slight use it's all OP.. pls guys

only thing here mentioned that it kinda qualifies as OP is ice.. cuz u dont need to fight for it

Did you really expected pertinent objectivity when clicked another "OP EZ REE" thread?
