What is the point of Dense puft?

More Meat for the Meat Mountain!

Making oxylite just means they only really consume half as much oxygen as listed

you could use oxylite in a compactor as an alternative to algae deoxidizers or terrariums at a remote location.

Their conversion is 90 or 95% IIRC.

Also I use mine to store oxygen, My system provides so much oxygen so having a compactor of this means I can move use it elsewhere. But Like NurdRage mentioned, it could be used in a new piece of industry at some point

I agree with the statement that the ability to feed puftlets (abundance of oxygen) pretty much resolves the need of oxylite (source of oxygen).

However as already said, dense puftlets can get rid of your excess oxygen and provide a basically free source of eggs and meat (do they actually drop meat?) in return.

Using oxylite and hydrogen would be a cool way to create water. There was a suggestion about creating water from oxygen and hydrogen.
Could also create peroxide for use in sterilizing. Would require another structure though. Would be a cool way to turn excess oxygen scrubbed from polluted oxygen farms into water.

I bet they're going to add something like this, They have been slowly adding stuff to the production chain for months now and it's getting really interesting...

Well, i hoped that hydrogen generater would do that.

Because combustion of hydrogen is reverse whats happening on electrolyzer

Oxylite has a slightly lower thermal capacity then oxygen, and it has a thermal conductivity of 4, compared to that of oxygen of just 0.024.. in other words oxylite can be manipulated with temp wise with much more ez.

Then there is ofc also the storage aspect, and the part of them not giving of oxygen at 1.8 "bar", which could make them act as really good backup for oxygen... bunch of compactors spread across the base, all with 20t of oxylite, Your air supply can turn of for quite a while before you'll even notice it...

In my previous game I used Dense Pufts as a mean to store Polluted Oxygen. Simply allow the PO enter into the cage, put Deodorizers at the bottom, and let the DP sniff the clean oxygen as soon as it get processed by the Deodorizers.

Above, a screenshot of the pen (room on the left). The excess of PO and O2 previously is also pumped into the room if somehow the gas pressure drops too much.

LOX consdenser is a system that cools O² to liquid? I'm curious, what us to it? transport again ?

The difficulty in the system is the low temperature required to get the oxygen to get into a liquid.  The big advantage is that you can convert P-O2 to O2 by liquefying it and then letting it warm back into a gas, and do it rather quickly once you get the system up.

As PhailRaptor said, and as exploit free storage. LOX is 1000Kg per tile, gas is max 20Kg per tile without shenanigans.
