  1. I mean hells, I used to not even tame gold volcanoes, just thermally isolate them and limit dupe access so they'd recover from scorching themselves.
  2. Sound logic? If they're not liking it "at all", then they shouldn't play it, since it'll bring them no enjoyment. After all, it's not like Klei will suddenly overhaul the entire DLC. Now if at all is just a massive exaggeration, my response doesn't work, but that's not on me.
  3. No-one's forcing you to use, or even play the DLC at all. (This also applies to the base game, since it sounds like you have issue with that too.) But as an aside, you're not going to win a lot of support, or even unbiased acknowledgement, when you open with trying to minimise the scale of theoretical opposition.
  4. Better yet: Have a simple loop, that a radbolt only passes through if the device is full. That way you both know when the device is full, and don't waste the test bolt.
  5. Why though? That's already exactly what happens for connecting pipes and wires. Why should the inverse be any different?
  6. Yes it does, because one also requires wires heavy enough that I'd have to invest even more time in it :P
  7. Performance will remain low until release, because of all the debugging code running. Testing builds are worse than stable releases, so if you're struggle for performance, don't use the testing branch.

  10. You can also simply cool your food down before sticking it in a vaccum. Sure, you now need to cycle it through a freezer until at temperature, but that's a small price to pay when it means more things to build.
  11. You can (/could) also trick them into not needing feeding but working as if they had been feed by having a pip plant them in a buried planter (as apposed to a farm tile).
  12. Not at all. Same as before, you just have to actually cool it (and thus build a cooler) before sticking it in a vacuum.
  13. Not a bug. They added it so that liquids in containers - including bottles - can now freeze and boil. And as per the norm, if a liquid above a certain mass freezes, it forms a tile. The repeated freezing and melting sounds like they forgot to add tolerance thresholds though.

  15. But... You're not going to, because that would require having more than just an opinion. Got it, subtext read.
  16. I for one want more ways to do stuff that current machines can do better with big builds. Like the oil boilers, or refining carbon (if it was more cost effective).
  17. Except, it's not. To the point it has it's own entire leader boards in games where it's possible. If there is a leaderboard, then it is inherently not single player, even if the leaderboard is the only multilayer component.
  18. Much easier to just have deep freeze check the object's temperature, rather than the tile's.
  19. So Lagrange Points would be very resource-lite, containing little more than enough terrain to land a rocket on. What would make them special though, is that they're entirely in space, both in terms of mined tiles being vacuums, and for things like orbital research. Basically they're defined points of stability for us to build space stations on.
