If Charlie is on the throne...

Recommended Posts

(dies laughing)  Ohmygod, I just imagined Charlie yelling into one of those old-timey, cranked-up wall phones with the funnelish shaped earpiece, annoyed 'cos They had gotten her pizza toppings wrong or something.  : P  Don't know why that exactly, but it's still a great mental image.

As for who's the shadow thing...yeah, I always assumed it's still her.  Now, if it was me, and I got to that high of a status, I would DEFINITELY delegate certain tasks and not do everything myself anymore.  But maybe she's just got a really good work ethic?

That or the Klei employees all take turns putting out your fire.  Which sounds like kind of a boring, cold job.  "Whose turn is it this week?"  "You."  "Oh, maaaan...!"

Grue would never do it himself, he would send Dave, Stuart and Kevin to do the dirty work for him. Why do you think "grue" mysteriously runs away when there is fire? It so no one knows the real truth! #freetheminions

But what if actually we're the ones hurting ourselves.
Think about it, it's a cruel world, no one wants to live out there;
So, every night in the darkness, each character violently punches themselves in the face to let our their anger and frustration.

Or you know, it could just be Charlie.

I say a video where some one used the console with some mods and spawned a bunch of dummy players because he wanted to see if there was an animation for being attacked and there is its like a shadow energy that crushes there body then leaves coming out of their mouth like stealing life essence so as far as I know this animation only exists in DST

Charlie is omnipresent. Like Maxwell going out to greet new transients, she can pop out of thin air anywhere she wishes. Remember she appears to have much more freedom than Max used to have. She changes the Throne and herself, isn't immediately glued to it after Wilson is gone... She chooses to sit on it. There is much more to her than we're allowed to know. Personally, I consider her three personalities at work:

- light!Charlie wants to get back home or at least make a new one THERE; nobody else would bother with presents and so on;

- dark!Charlie, the dreaded Grue, is the primal darkness that kills;

- shadow!Charlie is the actual ruler, delighted with her power, eager to experiment, queenly and so on; she may unleash things which used to lie dormant before the reign of Max - like Klaus, OR access more than just our Earth.
