Sounds good so far.

Although i find that the Poisonnerf was a bit unnessesary at least to this extend. It seems like you can now just ignore it if you'r at Full HP and just worry a bit about the Sanity drain. Cause you know Fishsticks.

Otherwise sounds pretty solid to me.

Also slightly unrelated note but when will the Shipwrecked Soundtrack get added to the Files for the people who bought the Soundtrack on Steam? Would love to listen to the tracks without having to look them up online or having to hear the tasks of me working alongisde of it.

I used the FSB extractor...just find the Music file and extract the music, super easy.

Thank you Klei & Capy :-) This patch covers so many things - it's just amazing. Great work!

I agree with almost everything except:

"Warly; Negative effects of food now get stronger, not weaker."

Why? With 33% buff + weaker negative effects, he would be then pretty balanced...

"Poison will now wear off after one day."

This was one of the biggest dangers in early game - why make it so easy now? At least make the poison lasts 3 days...

"The iron wind can be refueled with gears."

Huraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!

PS. Can someone explain what does that means:

- Made primeape hut a propagator.
- Sharx are not summoned by chumming the water with sharx fins.

This one i guess means that you can't summon more Sharx (or Sea Hounds as we know them) when Sharx Fins land in the water. My guess is that previously the Sharx fins didn't have the same Flag as Monstermeat that prevents more Sharx from spawning when it lands in the water and you could create a neverending cycle where you kill a Sharx it drops a fin and instantly summons a new one because of that

Clarification on this - If Warly has a positive bonus on a food, the negative effects of that food will be weaker. If Warly has a negative effect for a food, negative effects will get stronger.

You guys and gals of Klei and Capy did a fine job with that patch, now I will use Woodlegs,

thank you for that and all other great things, like the Quacken buff (but still no Quackering Ram...sad), Warly nerf, snakeskin recipe changes, coconade buff, etc. ...I don't like the heavy poison nerf...but maybe it gets raised to atleast 10 days or something like that. ^__^

Player
Warly

  • No longer refers to wet goop as “Delectable!”
  • Increased bonus for eating cookpot recipes from 20% to 33%.Great
  • Changed how picky eater works.
    • When Warly eats a new food, he will remember it for 2 days. :(
    • Eating the food again within 2 days will reset the duration of the timer .:(
    • Each time Warly eats that type of food during the timer it becomes less effective. :( :(:( But I understand why
  • Negative effects of food now get stronger, not weaker.:( 

Maxwell

  • Fixed Maxwell's shadows targeting crabs that are hiding.
  • Maxwell’s shadows will now help with the hack action.

Wickerbottom

  • The “Applied Horticulture” book can now regrow vines and bamboo

Woodlegs

  • WOODLEGS CAN NOW DROWN.
  • Increased the speed of the “Sea Legs” from 4 to 6.
  • Reduced acceleration of the “Sea Legs” by 50%.
  • Increased the cost of crafting the lucky hat.
  • The lucky hat now lasts 10 days. (effectively reducing the treasures/ day)
  • The lucky hat will not always spawn a treasure when not worn by Woodlegs.

Items

  • Increased durability of shark tooth crown to 9 days. Thumbs up
  • Removed sanity boost from wearing blubber suit and obsidian armor.
  • Increased duration of blubber suit from 5 days to 8 days. Not going to argue with that!
  • Increased coconade damage to 250 and explosion range to 6.Not going to argue with that!
  • Increased obsidian coconade damage to 340 and explosion range to 9.Not going to argue with that!
  • Reduced damage done by the machete from 34 to 29.92.
  • Moved boat torch and boat lantern from nautical tab to light tab.Going to open a new game in a sec- does that mean we have a new extra tab??? :D 
  • Adjusted the recipe of cobblestones while in a Shipwrecked game.
  • Windbreaker and aerodynamic hat now reduce the sealnado’s vacuum radius while equipped.Not going to argue with that!
  • Increased boat cannon uses from 10 to 15.
  • Dumbrella hat recipe now requires 2 shark gills.
  • Dripple pipes can now cause rain in dry season.Not going to argue with that!
  • More Vanilla & Reign of Giants items now float.
  • Increased the amount of fuel needed to use the ice maker 3000.
  • Changed art, name & recipe of the gas mask. It is now called the “particulate purifier”. Functionality remains unchanged.
  • The iron wind can be refueled with gears.
  • All recipes requiring snakeskins have had their snakeskin cost reduced.
  • Reduced the charge time on Obsidian weapons from 150 to 75.
  • Dropping a stack of meat in the water only counts as 1 chum.
     

Bug fixes
General

  • Various optimizations and tweaks to make the game run smoother!
  • When regenerating a world via the teleportato, the linked volcano world will now also be regenerated.
  • You can now fish flotsam in merged Shipwrecked worlds.
  • An empty obsidian crafting tab no longer appears in merged worlds.
  • Tidal wave sound no longer loops forever.
  • Fixed layering of crafting tabs, it now looks better when the player has a lot of crafting tabs.
  • Fixed fish art on drying rack.
  • You can now drop items directly from a boat’s inventory.
  • The “action” button (spacebar by default) will now only try to work an entity if that entity has work left.
  • Message bottles that have been carried out of Shipwrecked, and back, are fixed.
  • Using hammer on a single spoiled fish will now give bone shards instead of nothing.
  • It is now possible to get close enough to a wreck to hammer it.

World

  • The player will always appear at the entrance or exit of the volcano when entering or exiting the volcano.
  • Rain no longer stops partway through a hurricane.
  • Fixed multiple withering issues.
  • Planted saplings can no longer be blown around in the wind.
  • Hurricane tease only happens in mild season.
  • Smoothed the world-wrapping transition when using a very fast boat.
  • Berrybush minimap icon fixed in Reign of Giants.
  • Fixed water set piece placement including overlapping steamer trunks.
  • Glommer's statue will drop the old bell blueprint again.Not going to argue with that!
  • Cactus flower is obtainable again in Reign of Giants.Not going to argue with that!

Creatures

  • Koalefants, whales, snurtles & the walrus will now run away from the player when chased.
  • Fixed a bug in “kramped.lua” that prevented increased difficulty from ever occurring.
  • Quacken exit animation is no longer cut off partway through.
  • Quacken now triggers “epic fight” music.
  • Quacken tentacles now despawn with head when moving far enough away.
  • Fixed bug where pieces of beefalo would sometimes disappear.
  • Pirate hats will now show up on pirate parrots imprisoned in a birdcage.
  • Hacking a coconut inside Packim will no longer cause it to disappear.
  • Primeapes will now go after the silly monkey ball even if not thrown.
  • Fisher merms no longer attempt to panic while fishing.

Items

  • Only valid spears may be loaded into the spear gun now.
  • The feather fan can now be crafted in Reign of Giants worlds again.
  • Obsidian tool temperature issue fixed.
  • You can no longer teleport a boat onto the land using the lazy explorer.
  • The sand castle can no longer be repaired with a sewing kit.

Crashes

  • Fixed watery grave crash.
  • Fixed shadow boat crash when boarding a boat from a boat.
  • Fixed crash in builder component.
  • Fixed crash when picking a cactus in Reign of Giants.
  • Fixed crash when killing a doydoy in Reign of Giants.

My responses to the fixes are in bold above - I may have missed it but still can not see the bug fix for the non hack-able bloated whale carcass bug?  Expected to see that in this update.

I sound awfully weak but having been found wanting so many times no matter how many resources and fish sticks I had to hand - I died to poison.  If venom were a little bit easier to come by - I would be fine with poison remaining as it did, but I went for three seasons (actively searching for venom from the start) and never found one to make an antidote.... :(

Im not sure it should, to me it seems like 'what happens underground, should stay underground' Volcano is lacking in my opinion, the fact that the alter can be sacrificed too and give you a level of relief but only if you stay underground is one of its boons, to take that away is to make the volcano an even weaker element of the game

Pig huts can't be blownice down anymore.

Poison wearing off after a day.

Indifferent about...

They way sea combat was "fixed". I feel like there's better ways to do this but it's a start.

Monkeys no longer go after monkey balls in chests / backpacks as we can just wall them in.

eh... Koalas????   Ive never seen them??!!  Where the Ferk do I find Koalas and what do they do???

This is great. The Woodlegs rework, the Quaken buff, the Packim fix! and all these other changes are amazing! Except for the poison one (a day is not enough punishment :p)

Nice job!

What about Seaworthy, were there any reworks or something? I've lost my world while entering caves (which I explored long ago) - "Carving out cave" appears for eternity, and dismerging worlds cause crash :C
