Her burning you by being near her is intended, but I think the wording here is saying that Maxwell is being burnt when the clones teleport away since that gives whatever is aggro'd onto them aggro on Maxwell. This feels like one of those silly “Year of” Mini Game events that’s cute for a little bit but after the event ends it should go away.. unless I toggle it back on or something. I hate to sound so harsh about it but these masks & torsos really start piling up, I can take a torch to and burn them all I suppose, but what is the actual “point” behind this besides to maybe catch newbie players up on a bit of story lore? And then my next question is why doesn’t it go away after completing the full stage play? Like idk crumble and get pulled back into the ground by shadow hands or something.. I just never touch em, HOWEVER, its cool to see what you get if you find it day 1, potentially a free miner hat, top hat or trap for magic tier 1. Or an umbrella for pearl's quest. I use it's placement in the world along with the brick road, and stagehand/chester's location to determine early on if the world could potentially have a triple walrus biome that I haven't run into yet. Since it's spawn location tends to mimic that of the brick road or chester it usually spawns near where they are or in the other biomes they would spawn in Ex. Killer bee biome and triple mctusk I'm pretty sure there's more spawns but this is what I've noticed personally so far and since we can't cheat or get mods on console it's been a huge help for me to determine the value of a world faster. I hope we don’t gotta wait till the end of February (& Wilson rework) before the devs spill the juicy news on what we can look forward to in 2023. Usually the wait for the new roadmap is when all the crazy topics start popping up (that’s always a fun super exciting time lol) Also as a completely unrelated Question- is it possible we can get world Gen options to host a Surface or Caves Only world? It may end, but I don’t think it’s going to end anytime soon… Klei literally just did a MASSIVE update to the single player game which came out in 2013 (that’s 10 years ago by the way..) for compassion DST Released in 2017 (for Xbox) if they’re still doing updates on a Decade old game… for no real reason whatsoever- then I don’t really think you got too much to worry about content updates for DST stopping anytime soon. That said: DST is also being severely held back by being a last Generation game (it even suffers trying to run on Nintendo Switch) and just like with GTA Online- there’s only so much Klei can add to the last Gen version of the game before they need to move on to bigger greater things with the newer console hardware. And when that day comes- I only hope they find some very clever way to allow me to host Next Gen DST on my Xbox Series S, but still have last Gen friends be able to join that world by joining in as a Client. For comparison: If you and a friend own Battlefield 2042 (your friend on the Xbox One, you on X/S) if your friend invites you to play with them it will try to launch the last Gen (Xbox One) version of BF2042, however if YOU invite your Friend.. they will be able to play the X/S version of the game by streaming it through the Xbox Cloud App on their last Gen console Why is this important??? Because ALOT of X/S games do not do this, and forces you to either play the last Gen game, or to only play with people on X/S. To make that situation so much freaking worse..sometimes an Xbox One game will get a completely free X/S update upgrading it to the Xbox X/S version, this update is UNAVOIDABLE and once it happens.. games you use to play with your last Gen friends can no longer be played cause your on the newer system. Im posting all of this here NOW so that Klei takes it under heavy consideration when thinking about the FUTURE of their franchise.. As much as I would LOVE to have bigger more highly detailed worlds full of beautiful scenery & atmosphere, higher player counts and as many world Gen settings as PC version of DST has.. losing the ability to play with my friends who can’t get a New Console isn’t worth it. What makes you think that DST is going to just “end” anytime soon anyway? Because they’re finishing up the character refreshes? Electric darts / Morning star's damage doesn't increase with volt goat jelly, therefore it's better to pair it with normal blowdarts or dark swords. I also tested the Dark sword with Spicy Jelly on a wet target , it did 204 damage per hit. I love taking down the Bee Queen this way every Spring. What you are currently looking at is my GAMEPASS recommendations, which normally.. is meant to recommend other Gamepass games to me based on other games I’ve played on the pass. I think maybe they're taking a little break to focus on Don't Starve Solo and honestly I'm so happy about that idea. As well as, a break from regular updates to focus on optimizing the game and optimization updates, as occurred in the last few weeks.
