OMGkawaiiAngel
First of all, credits to these lovely people for some of the designs in my base: @reichull, @Warlockadamm, @Kynoox_ I think this world has gotten too far, I might... reset it soon. "The kitchen area" We got mush-lights now! "Main area" These wonderful wall designs were inspired by Kynoox and Warlockadamm, (The furnace design which is adorable was also Warlockadamm's idea) Storage area 1 Storage area 2 Respawn area and green mushroom farm area... A lovely dressing room (This design with the adorable potted succulent surrounded by carpets was inspired by Reichull, and then I came up with this "cross-like design!" Fishing area... (Even though we've never used it) And the houndious shootiouses...? area, Dear goodness... Only if you knew what I went through to get these 3 eye-turrets... Blue Moth
i've been making quite a few shrines lately, here's the ones i have that i haven't already posted. Crab King Shrine: The shells actually play the 6 iconic notes of Crab King's theme. Antlion Shrine: Day: Night: and here's what it looks like during the battle, at night, because it looks cool

Rinkusan
@reichull How exactly do you orient the farm plots at different angles like that?

I just rotate my point of view. (By pressing Q / E on your keyboard or L1 / R1 on your controller. I do it on a 3x3 tile plot of land with a carpet tile in the middle for reference- crafting the farms in a circle around that.
Blue Moth
I've been playing a lot of Hamlet lately, and I just wanted to show off a few builds i've made in slanty shanties. So, I wanted to have the mayor and Queen in my city, so i moved the mayor to my city hall and i made a palace for the queen (moving her was a hassle) Here's the throne room: Here's the royal gallery: (eventually i'll put the blue sow and jeweled truffle in here once i actually feel like getting those.) Greenhouse: Also i made a theatre for Wigfrid to perform in in my own house, although, looking back, i should've put it in the palace.

wigfrids hat
so, it isn't finished yet buuuuuuut i do want to show what i have so far and i don't think any other threads are still open(i keep finding archived stuff). please be gentle as this is my first organized base(i am of the fire in the middle everything around it in a septagon variety of base-builder). i spent a whole year gathering supplies and the better part of a second year building it; because i didn't like how it looked to have lanterns and fires in every single room i did download lamposts from here; https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1634872612&searchtext=hamlet each of those bad boys takes 11 gold x____x i have never run out of gold before did it twice here
Hornete
People don't use Mourning Glories to decorate enough! They are so so pretty, glistening at dusk and night. Here's my little boat with Mourning Glories on the perimeter!

wigfrids hat
i suppose plaming 16 years of playing the original sims with the walls down is not appropriate? XD for sure though it only seems spacious because i haven't filled it up yet, haha

XD for sure though it only seems spacious because i haven't filled it up yet, haha Booyah! Another oldschool Simmer, eh? Whlie we're on that subject... Spoiler Here you can see Sim-Willow's...base, which is outdoors as it should be, has only a tent for shelter/sleeping, an "advanced farm" over there behind a fence (because zombies and wandering horses keep trying to eat it. Yes, you heard me. Horses.), a firepit (later replaced with something more Don't Starvian looking) (ISN'T THAT JUST EFFING _PERFECT_ FOR THE CLASSIC FIREPIT? Also early spring is just as obnoxiously cold in Sims 3 as it is in DS/T, apparently.) There's also of course trees, flowers and grass (so, she set up camp in a meadow biome) a pond for being attacked by frogs fishing in the background (and Sims can SKATE on it in the winter!) and even a beebox, which is out of frame. As you can see, she set up right by the portal, the noob. : P Of course, I can't really take credit for good "design" with this...base--most of the prettiness comes from the game itself. Sims 3 has some _exquisite_ time-of-day/seasonal lighting, morning mist, etc. I've taken some legit JUST-landscape shots with no Sims in them. And over on the left next to the bathtub (in the first picture), you can even see Bernie! Here's Sim-Willow herself so you can see her better: Anyway here's Wendy's crooked Viking Longhouse: Why is it diagonal? well, the only angle the tables looked good at was this one...but then the floor went down in a diamond pattern instead of squares when I built at this angle. I didn't want jaggedy bits of floor sticking out past the walls so I went "Eh." and made the walls match the floor. Anyway we gots a "shrine to Thor" (lightning rod with hammer nearby, lol) a whole bunch of...mead caskets, firepits and long wooden tables, wooden fort walls and floors, and even weapons racks! And, I dressed Wendy up specially for this occasion. Mods used (that are showing in this picture): Furniture Megapack, Pickle It! Also giant trees from the Evergreens 2gether mod helped with all the logs necessary. ...Notorious

CaptainChaotica
Nonono, I'm an oldschool Simmer from when the first game had no expansion/stuff packs, too. I used those pictures HERE because they're among the only ones I have that're also to do with Don't Starve. : P Spoiler My brother did this rendition of our house (at the time) with basegame content/no CC, and sent it to me over A.I.M. XD That's "me" next to the fridge in the kitchen there. Yeah, of all people HE was the one to introduce the rest of the family to the franchise. And here's a screenshot from a house I made myself, later--Daria and Quinn Morgendorffer having breakfast together while Jake cleans up the extra plates. : P (The lady in the bathroom is a guest, but I forget the name.) This wasn't at all the only time I put named characters in my game...my Sims neighborhoods ALWAYS eventually turn into a great multiple-universe crossover self-writing fanfic, and I LOVE it. Down the street in this game alone, for example, we had the five main Sailor Senshi and Chibi Moon, Kagome and Inuyasha lived across the street from them, Rimmer from Red Dwarf, Lara Croft and Captain Kirk were in there somewhere as well, and so was Captain Sheridan from Babylon 5 and new-version Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica. That's just...how I roll. Um, um...bases...base-like things... Well, here's my museum, as seen from the air... And here's a shot from the inside, with Willow reading one of the "plaques" I put by each display. I used a mod called something like "End Table Decorations" to get all those things onto the tables. ...Notorious
