We're complaining because all of the new content isn't getting shown off. Heck, most of RT's stream was him messing with world settings. I don't particularly care if RT (or whoever) streams DST. In fact, I think Klei's heavy advertising/sponsorship campaign that they have going on for the past few months is a good thing for the game. However, what it instead feels like is that RT streams an expected update before everyone else have access to it, a thread pops up about it, and it's only then that Klei's gives early access keys to key DST streamers. This is enforced by the fact that the first time this happened, Klei said on their twitter that "no one was supposed to get it early" for Wortox and they rectified it then and there by providing access to other streamers. This is further conflated by the fact that when Willow had her rework and when Wormwood released, RT streamed the game. But guess what? There were no threads about it because he did it the same day of release, so no complaints. So what it seems like is that RT is the trigger for this type of thread, and that Klei is not entirely clear in their communications about this type of stuff. Had the announcement post been something like "Warly comes July 25th, expect some Early Access streams/content from XYZ" as a way of both teasing Warly and as their way of advertising, then I would have zero complaints. (Though I would have preferred Equal Access rather than limited Early Access). (Other DSTers have been given access to Warly early btw, such as AllFunzNGamez, but I that portion of his stream came only AFTER RTGames streamed himself, further reinforcing my stance.) We haven't even got news that the Gorge is coming back, so the chances of it coming out the same time as Warly is incredibly low. Best case we get news of it in the next roadmap update. Not sure why everyone is banking on it coming as soon as Warly drops.
