Terra B Welch Posted August 23, 2020 Share Posted August 23, 2020 Idk why, but I randomly felt like doing a silly little thing called "Culinary Adventure" Where I had Warly's portable crockpot but also a 4 day food memory(like warly) and could only eat crockpot foods, the pack also has feast and famine to greatly extend the list of crockpot recipes(and change a few things) This was just meant to be a silly little fun casual playthrough where I explore crockpot recipes(With the goal being to fill out the mod recipes tab in the cookbook), it wasn't meant to be anything serious, but then the worldgen was like "Yo, you playin a fun little casual playthrough? One not so serious? Here, let me tempt you with this great worldgen where dragonfly is near spawn, a wormhole straight to pig king and mosaic not far off of pig king" Even with Feast and Famine forcing me to make leather for football helmets, I couldn't pass up the opportunity for a good ol' fashioned dragonfly derust. >.< Ngl, the fight was pretty sloppy, wasted a couple helmets and alot more healing then I was used to using. Also Abigail died a couple times due to taking a few too many dragonfly swipes, although abi's deaths hardly mean anything when she's only used for that damage buff. Anywho, decided to decorate my nearby noob base with a new furnace. >.< Oh and glommer buddy is here too. But seriously, the game sure loves doing that. Curse you flood waters! Speaking of flood water, heres how flood water looks on the lunar island. In the screenshot below it's to my left, incase it's hard to see. The next pic has it to my right. For the last pic, I hope it's easy enough to see with the rocky turf. Terra B Welch Posted August 28, 2020 Share Posted August 28, 2020 Found this cargo boat during my exploration. Also found a Dumbrella in a random chest in the ocean. Too bad I have one already but hey, I don't mind a spare incase I forget to fix mine! After dry season ended, I got ready to fight the dragonfly in her fiery lair! I got together some football helmets from what little pig skin I had and made a hambat too, using meat from my doydoys. I headed to her lair and began the fight! And like in the fairy tales, the knight emerges victorious. Although I'm just some castaway and not a knight but whatever, DRAGON SLAIN. XD I won't lie though, yes it was the same old dragonfly fight, but it felt alot more epic being in a volcanic wasteland island of death rather then the same old desert you normally fight her in. The volcanic island for dragonfly just feels fitting for her. Also ended up hauling back the gems in a cargo boat. And here is a pic of my base so far with new scaled furnace added.
