On my way back to my old base to scavenge whatever the Bearger felt like leaving, I apparently wandered into the bad side of town...

~~Walked up to the old apartment...~~  Actually there's enough stuff here just in the broken items alone, that it'll easily take more than one trip to bring back (maybe I'll take the "Entropy" next time--it can temp as a cargo boat) and a weird assortment of completely FINE stuff. Like, the Bearger smooshed the endo firepit but NOT the regular one, and left most of my fancy structures alone.  I especially expected him to try to eat the bunnies in the Presithatitator or nom my pumpkin lantern, which was in one of the chests!  But nope, it's still there.

I'm thinking of just leaving the rest of the old camp how it is, as a potentially-useful and/or confusing artifact for anybody who happens to come to this arse-end of the southern forest.  XD

My god, that is the biggest and blackest meteor stain I've ever seen.  XD  As for finding gold AND a kitty at the same time?  Sounds like the best day ever! 

Also here's a relevant screenshot from a while back:

That orange sorta half-circle there is where a meteor LANDED ON MY CAT and she didn't even wake up.  XD

And because St. Patrick's Day was a couple days ago, have some extreme greenness. 
(Yes, that is the same cat who recently got meteor'd.  : P)

Okay, so Abigail has turned into a ball fighting a hound that's trying to eat our Ticoon, I'm apparently trying to reforest right next to lava holes, and the Dragonfly is just offscreen.  Best.  Idea.  EVER.  XD

Sonora, the desert kitty from "Arizona".

--That is in fact a picture of the actual Sonora desert.  "Mohave" would've been another good cat name, but the Mohave desert doesn't look as much like the Antlion's one as the Sonora does.

--When I looked up wildlire from there, freaking _bobcats_ were one of the results, hence the baby bobcat picture.

--The circle thing is me trying to draw the "Season Clock" part of the Combined Status mod in Paint, personalized to show the seasons of "Beta Boogie-Woogie" in particular.

--I am going to be SO confused when I look at my "Insert other media" later and am lke "Why the heck is there an Arizona flag?"  : P

I was randomising the names out of curiosity to see what all is in there, and...CHUCHU?  Wait, like _this_ ChuChu?

It's probably a common cat name, but Kittisaurus/Claireluvcat was what my brain immediately leapt to.  (Now I'm wondering if any other of her cutesy double-sound cat names are in the randomiser:  Coco, Momo, Lala, Lulu, Nana, Dodo, Toto, etc.)

Chuchu as the "Little Match Cat"--kind of an appropriate reference here, since Willow's Gorge outfit references the same original fairy tale.
--The Cup Challenge:  Chuchu didn't cross the course, but DID somehow manage to put three cups in three other cups.  XD
--The Tube Challenge:  ChuChu, Lala and Lulu all prove that cats are, in fact, fluffy worms.

I put on Winter's Feast to farm Klaus, and well, this guy spawns, somehow.

Looks like Culinary Archipelago works in the QoL update after only some minor update requirements.

Here's an interesting thing when it comes to having access to other character's craftables, they just pop up in that character's crafting menu with the new crafting UI.

Budding Chef has access to Warly's crafting recipes, although with personal restrictions I only have budding chef craft the crockpot or maybe the backpack, but I thought it was interesting.

So (a few days later) it's a peaceful (?) winter night, and suddenly

...staying at the warm fire is overrated.  C'mon, kitties, Chester, Abigail!  We may have to run into the night, but I DO have some food, a thermal stone, a torch, stuff to make another one, fire materials, and a lot of unpicked berry bushes in the area we're going to.  Let's go!

So I finally got around to making my "helpful entrance area" thing.  This one doesn't say "...and not die!  :)" like Willow's did, because Wendy Does Not Smile.

(I was tempted to make directional signs, pointing to each one with "Hot Fire" and "Cold Fire" on them, but I don't have directional signs prototyped.  : P)

I came across like four self-growing twiggy baby twig trees in the same area, in the middle of winter.  Kinda heartwarming, in a way.

Hey, you want an actual visual demonstration of how crazy the seasons are in this server?  Watch carefully! Blink and you'll miss one (except summer).

That's an idea.  (Although, obviously not right then, when the Deerclops was coming.  I already rebuilt my base once.  : P)

Speaking of kitcoons in general--as I understand it, if I don't want them to start running off and forgetting me multiple times a freaking day, I'll have to go to the regular pet den and get an oldschool kittykit as a pit boss friend to keep the others in line happy.  Apparently, it turns out "the kitcoons will stay after the event" doesn't necessarily mean they'll stay with YOU...

(if that was a kitcoon who knew me from Eve, that bottom word would be "Abandon", not "Examine")

Turns out they had a loyalty mechanic we didn't even notice this whole time--and once the event is off, they're a "But what have you done for me LATELY?" type that doesn't even last an entire _day_ at a time.  But apparently, if you also have a regular kittykit _and keep it fed_ (or keep the event on), the others will stay with you as long as that's true, as someone said in the Bug Report topic about this.  I hope I can get Winona here over to her world's pet den before any MORE of her cats lag behind so much they get lost. (Sunuvabirch already lagged way behind in a huge forest...)

I know this isn't actually like, IMPORTANT important, but it just kinda bugs me.  Meh.
