Quote I didn't have a particular conversation for this, so I posted my screencap here. I was inspired by the lootbox but didn't get a chance to reply to this until tonight. Thought it'd be a funny comic. There is a fourth panel but my father didn't feel they were connected, so I'll work on the fourth image tomorrow. Pencil test for the group image. My boss's laptop can't do gifs, so I had to finish the gif on my art laptop.I'll post it in the other thread for ideas and criticism since I don't want to work on the background yet. This was supposed to be the fourth panel but when I asked my father about my strange feeling about the comic feeling incomplete, he told me not to make a fifth or six panel. So here's a simple piece of Wilson testing on one of his rats. Drawing from the Jouste stream with the Queen spider. I decided to do my own version of poor Wes recreating the Perils of Penelope Pitstop.The background was supposed to be purple but with some fun layer effects, I got some grungy red touches. Really perfer this over the dark purple. In the same stream, Jouste drew a teddy bear and then screwed it with a monkey body. I immediately thought of Bernie so I thought of traumatizing Willow. The mouth Jouste drew reminds me of a spider so I thought the two would hiss at each other. Based on a suggestion that @mewthemew brought to me. Since both Darkest Dungeon and Don't Starve have a Hamlet, she wanted to see if I could tackle the two. She sent me the different stages but I was drawn to the rustic and early stages more than the clean ones. This became a piece that I bit more than I could choose. The paper I used was bigger than my receipts but not enough for the other references, so I had to squish compositons. I thought I could use china marker but due to how the pencil was too rough and not sharp enough, I had to do the rest with inking. So... Six days is ages for me when it comes to my art. If I spend too long, I neglect my other projects so I just want to hurry as fast as possible. The lady living with us is adding more curfews onto my life so my artistic freedom is being chained. My boss called me in earlier so I didn't have time to ink my work and relax my mind before work. I used Jack's pirate outfit from James and the Giant peach but I really wanted to poke some fun at the swimming nightmare's design as Lochness with the camera from my Lio crossover piece.
