The bright purple and yellow glow seeped through Kate's eyelids, and she gradually blinked them open to try to see what was going on, although she could only bring herself to squint at this point. It appeared the sea water irritated her eyes quite a bit, as the whites of them were now red.

Noctimus loves her anyway, and licks up some of the saltwater from her face. It doesn't burn his tongue. He's gotta drink like everyone else.

Kulta slowly spins and flails and gradually gets dragged downwards.

However, it doesn't seem like the other has the patience for the whirlpool to handle things.

In an explosive column of water, Niellatursas bursts out of the ocean, her gaping maw easily engulfing the golden Tursai and lifting them into the air.  For the group, it's as if the largest skyscraper in the world just appeared out of the water, a towering mass of purple carapace and tendrils and glowing yellow eyes.  A massive wave almost capsizes the boat, but Malii keeps it stable.

Wallan screams in terror.

He teleports away and is never seen again.

Silven stared at the new creature that was really huge. This was something to write about! He grabbed his journal but realized there was something wrong with it, the pages seemed to be coming apart when he touched them and that liquid was on it. Did it infect his journal too? Then he looked at his fur... This substance seemed to spread- how could he find a cure for something that seemed to persistent and could effect more than just a living species?

Otto almost was knocked off the boat but was able to grab onto the railing. "What is it with all these GOD DAMN GIANTS?!?!"

Niella snaps her jaws shut, and descends back below the surface.  The water displacement creates yet another mini-whirlpool, which harmlessly tugs the ship and Malii towards its center before dissipating.

Jaw screams a bit, then remembered he was holding the little girl and stopped. Her eyes were already hurt, he didn't want to kill her ears too.

But he can't help shaking in front of Niella. But while his instinct was making him shiver, a part of him was so hyped by the view of the giant friendly Tursai killing the smaller evil Tursai

Meritursas seems the most shocked out of the group.  He just stares into the water, his mouth hanging open.  He blinks slowly, as if he believes what he just saw could've been caused by something in his eye.
