Give them some morsel and they will stay with you (like pigs), but the main thing with them is that they "puke" random things every 1/2/3 minutes (for now mine puked a rabbit, a tumbleweed, some rot and a rope). I had one following me... until it decided to play with bees XD They might be a bit OP. I had several dens spawn next to ponds. With the catcoons apparently 'hostile' to just about everything, the results were rather predictable. I ended up with several meat plus extra catcoon caps that I could pick up at my leisure. I tried setting my speed to 40 and chasing its footprints, but it would just return to the waters eventually...
