Now I would give a speech about 'We've come so far...' or something mushy like that, but...I'm not. To the point-what do you think of Don't Starve now that its in the final stage? Probably, but isn't this the fact every game every time. I think it is a great game (base) there is modding perhaps a DLC someday in the future. Amkar Posted October 16, 2013 Share Posted October 16, 2013 I feel sad about all those characters I built my hopes up for that haven't made it. Wallace, Webber, Wilton... I hope they're in the DLC! The thing I've missed the last few updates is the mystery. While we have known about things like the ruins to be coming, there was nothing to match the mystery of sanity or the Deerclops. I'm not complaining, but I just hope there's that kind of build up for the DLC. Still. The game is great! Few games would have this much extra content after launch for free, so I'm incredibly grateful. On the other hand, I would love to see more content. I would especially like to see new content because I've found caves rather disappointing and the majority of 6 months of updates have been devoted to them. Anyway, maybe we'll start hearing something about the DLC sometime in the nearish future. I'm excited. Grumpy Posted October 17, 2013 Share Posted October 17, 2013 Considering the massive number of hours I've put into this game I'd have to say by default it's great! But then such a slow moving game requires a lot of hours too. Although I've had a lot of fun playing for way more hours than I can afford I have to say I wish there had been more emphasis put into developing a late/end game. The caves just don't draw me in. I hate reaching the point where I realize I'm standing by my fire pit in the middle of the day trying to figure out what I can do next. That's when I know the game is over. Also, all the work being done in the caves *appear* to be causing so many bugs and crashes on the surface.
