Who do you main and why?

Woodie. Lovely voice, Chill personality. His bird hatred is some of the funniest and strangest things to exist. 
Has powers who needs to be more controlled than others and has its flaws. But its fun to try and outdo those flaws and push the limits of the were-curses in more fun interactions. even if they don't always work or if its efficient enough, it's super fun to just bash an enemy as a moose. 
Personally- the flaws is what makes the character. On that note screw Alter who makes Woodie have one of the most nasty downsides there are.

Maxwell because I stubbornly decided to play him when I first got into the game and refused to learn with another character. I also like when men are sad and pathetic so that's just a bonus

I actually love to play with Wurt and Wormwood (specially Wurt) because it have a lot of roleplay pottential.

I love the feeling of being able to make a kingdom and it's a good dream because I'm able to survive if I want to or not. It's kind of trigger for me to play the game.

I mostly play wendy on pubs because funny eyeplant hair

Warly, I enjoy his playstyle, seeing food everywhere, going around feeding peeps. I play Warly a bit different than most I think, I enjoy going together with survivors to explore and hunt instead of base hugging, I go on ruin rush, sailing, long hunting session, so on and so forth and play a little game of my own, that is to try to be as efficient as possible with whatever the land gives, choosing what meal to cook to fit the needs (health, hunger or sanity) of me and my team, extending our explore / sailing / hunting trip so we can do more than just having to keep visiting base to cook

- violin is such a good instrument, best voice dst [i like woodlegs more]

- his fragmented personality intrigues me lorewise and the fact he rhymes a lot always shines my day cuz i like poetry and this punches he throws here and there

- i like his perks as well not cuz op or anything i just think its good be able to jump around some situations even tho end game he doesnt offer that much 

- literally a Krampus, my fave mob [and klauss as fave boss]

Wormwood. Best character, no competition. I even mained him back when he was pretty bad before Reap What You Sow and continue to main him in solo DS where there will never be a RWYS, he's just that good. Although when I'm not playing Wormwood, I'm most likely playing Wanda.

I usually main random, he's a good character, intresting playstyle, unqiue stats, useful in the early and late game but isn't OP.

Wormwood. He's cute and also plays well, with an impactful downside, and good perks.

Everyone except Wendy. Just because Abigail is a broken feature and every world already have 1-3 Wendys.

Maxwell because I always hated dealing with sanity in single player, and also because I would give anything to experience beating adventure mode for the first time again. After unlocking him, I barely played as anyone else. When DST came out, I used mods to play as him there too, until eventually he was added to the main cast and the rest is history.

Warly because I always wanted him in DST since I figured a portable crockpot would be an invaluable tool for multi-player.

Wagstaff was my main in single, before Hamlet came out a didn't have one, and my main in DST has changed so much at this point that I don't think any of them count any more.

Wendy, because I like Wendy’s quotes, instrument sounds, I also play 95% of the time alone and Abigail is as close to having a “Second Player” as your going to ever get.

When people cry “Wendy OP Plz Nerf..” I just role my eyes.. because to Me Wendy Was/Is/ and Hopefully always will be: Like playing Co-op but without another Human.

I don’t see Wendy being any more or less OP as Wolfgang or Wortox paired up with Wigfrid.

Abigail is my personal Wigfrid..

But in addition to that- Wendy has some cool skins, and I love the “find ghostly stuffs for sad pipspooks” mini-game they gave her in her rework.

Why not pick Wurt? Its like playing with entire server worth of players.

Down even to the insane food and resource sink and them merms freeloading off your work most of the time xD

Very realistic pub server experience in one character.

Winona Main. generally I prefer not to play with characters that are barred from some content like eating vegetables, sleeping etc. and for me she does the generalist approach best with adding her own spice like catapults everywhere, cheap sewing kits & boat patches, pretty convenient favorite food, fast crafting, good personality, nice voice and nice quotes. Made this back before the Wolfgang Rework so now I think Wolfgang has ascended to the Occasional pick class and Maxwell descended to not touching before reworked category for me.
