Mirthandir Posted June 24, 2021 Share Posted June 24, 2021 Hey! :O I've been quite active in the DST community since about 2017/2018-ish, and I've always had this very consistent design/idea for what pre-spidery Webber would look like. I actually have a thread for my art on the forums where I've posted at least one drawing of said design, the rest being on tumblr. All of these are way, wayyy before this short ever properly dropped. And then lo and behold, the trailer drops today and OHOHO I might just be being somewhat full of myself here, but I do have to wonder if any inspiration happened to be taken from my old design? I don't think Webber's dad ordered the spider, I think Wagstaff just found an entomologist to do further research on the giant spider he collected from the constant. An entomologist which, judging from the alchemy station he has, is also versed into "weird" research, Wilson style. How did Wagstaff collect the spider in the real world in first place?
