Are We Sure About Wigfrid Update?

Yes, we probably gonna get Wigfrid update. But I wondered a bit about of that picture Klei shared on Aug. QoL update (Disappointment one).

She have so much photo of her around home and it's kinda creepy. And also there is so much thing about her job like spears, unicorns. Who would do that? How many pic. of yourself you have at your house? Or how many pic about your job? I have a single shotgun on wall but I'm just a student.

 Even Maxwell's house don't have stuff like that.. He have photo of Charlie and himself and few search stuffs about DS world. (Photos from puzzles).

I don't think and believe she is that narcissistic. Maybe it's a normal thing for you but I think it's a bit strange. Just realize a doctor have a hanged photo taken while surgeon.

I just have a unpopular opinion. That photo is not from her house. It's from a house of her big FAN. I don't know who can be fan but it's possible. We know most of characters know others and have bonded (Like Maxwell is aunt of Wendy or Wolfgang is kind of boss of Maxwell. OR maybe the fan is another person living in house. Like Webber's parents or the creator of WX (Wagstaff). All of these are theory by the way :P

As far as we know right now, Wigfrid is gimping herself by only letting herself eat meat because otherwise it would break character. Who would even put up a facade of acting while they are basically in a life or death situation?

Heck, she kills her enemies so hard, that she can see their souls leaving their bodies.

With all this in mind, it would make perfect sense that Wigfrid is obsessed with her acting career to the point of filling her home/theatre room with various props to keep her immersed.

Klei said that the QoL update was the team’s way of taking a break, so I don’t know why people expected so much from this update.

I used to dance when I was growing up, so I don’t think its weird Wigfrid has props and performance pictures on her walls. I still have old dance photos and costumes in my closet I hold onto for memories. Maybe she’s a bit self centred, but who isn’t when you’re on stage?

I'm 99% sure it's Wigfrid but it'd be a pleasant surprise if the rework gets released on 17 September and it turns out it was a Warbucks rework, living in that luxurious mension and being #1 Wigfrid fan all this time.

She dies for meat diet bc of Working show but living in a palace with her pictures? I would expect a place with a big throne and animal leather around, maybe few animal heads. The only kind picture of her would suit her character would be her first or biggest hunt.

Bruh, There was tons of posts and ideas but none of them happened. Really did we need a cookbook? Also It's not that usefull, I'm gonna keep use it. And last two QoL update was based on beards. I know I shouldn't except a big thing but I realized few thing more. The only thing make me happy about update was retexturing. Also it's not a thread about QoL update and my poopy opinions.

That'd be an interesting character depth for him, imagine Warbucks obsessively buying a ticket to every single performance of Wigfrid, always traveling to her performance locations and doing some hunting and attending to aristocratic gatherings in the cities she performs in. They could have been in Vienna, Berlin, London, Paris, Venice, Istanbul, New York, Barcelona, Moscow etc. together without even meeting one another.

Probably Wigfrid before Constant had a different character than now. Because Constant is an insane place full of magic, strange creatures, creepy ruins, big spiders, and other stuff what she wouldn't meet in her "normal world". Just landing in there is enough reasons to be even more crazy, maybe completely insane.
Bringing stuff from the work doesn't seen that crazy, she is an artist, and as Blueleaf12 mentioned above, artists usually have such stuff for memories, trophies etc. Also, she seems to be rich and proud from her work.

I don’t know.. if I was Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa or Margot Robbie my house would have tons of pictures of me from my movies, there would be movie props on my wall.

You guys have to keep in mind that if Wigfrid lost her real identity in her performance of being a Viking, that obviously she was already obsessed with Viking related stuffs prior to taking on the role, it would be about the same as if Hulk Hogan enjoyed playing the role of Hulk Hogan so much he legally changed his name to- Oh.. oh wait nvm carry on.

I never assumed those were pictures of her. I thought those were pictures of random valkyries. She is just obsessed with valkyries. Like some little girls with barbie dolls or other nightmare fuel related items.

I think the beautiful thing about a Wigfrid rework is that we know absolutely nothing about the real Wigfrid. She could be rich, or she could be poor. She could be a loner, or she could be someone's mother/daughter. She can be literally anything or anyone because we don't know Wigfrid. We only know the character that Wigfrid is playing. I'm excited to see the actress behind the character.

It would be cool if they gave her a shield and spear combo weapon because you know shield maiden. The shield could be raised/lowered instantly the same way you hide in snurtle shell armor, when raised you would be able to attack at the same time but at the cost of reduced movement and attack speed, or used purely for defense the same way snurtle shell armor is.

Give her more weapon crafts like a ranged weapon or spear that can be thrown, this would be useful for hunts. Maybe give her battle armor that's actually worth using in the chest slot. And either rework her current spear and helm to be geared more for mid-late game or add expensive tier two versions of them for mid-late game.

Another cool idea i have seen thrown around is give her the boss screech mechanic call it "battle cry". It would buff her damage reduction and allow her to take enemy agro, and all nearby teammates receive faster movement and attack speed.
Something like that idk, maybe the battle cry would instead just buff her and nearby teammates with higher damage reduction. This would have to be on a cool down or require a crafted item with limited use, they could make this item similar to the beefalo horn in appearance. It would require a beefalo horn to craft but would look nicer, this also ties into her play style because she is always hunting beefs for meat.
