[Game Update] - 361684

  • Game saves preview screenshots when saving the game, and displays them in the load menu
  • Molar mass of solid and gaseous ethanol fixed
  • Updated Chinese translations
  • Updated Russian translations
  • Clicking notifications for new skills, no research, or no analysis opens the corresponding screen
  • Fixed issue with "Missing Research Station" not showing in the correct conditions
  • Only show "new skill point" notification if Duplicant went from 0 to 1 available points and remove it if the points get spent
  • Skill points and hats refresh correctly when choosing skills
  • Improve loading of colony summaries and timelapses so that the screen opens much more responsively
  • Colony summary screen no longer leaks memory
  • Slowed down the playback speed of the timelapse, and added basic playback controls
  • Selecting an achievement in the colony summary screen shows detailed progress towards that achievement
  • Added icon on achievements list to indicate if the base is eligible for Steam achievements (i.e. has debug been used)
  • Critter Sensor allows choosing to activate when Above or Below the chosen value
  • Fix issue where where certain rotations of buildings wouldn't detect if their foundation had been removed
  • Added salt shaking sounds to the mess table
  • Fix extra click sounds on the printing pod buttons
  • Pacu are generally less constantly loud, particularly when in large groups.
  • Fix Rust Generator electricity sparking sounds. 
  • Tutorial videos are slightly louder. 
  • Fix scrolling sounds on the asteroid select screen
  • Correct click sounds play on various checkboxes
  • Play correct sound effects when shuffling Dupes
  • Wrangled critters only vocalize sometimes instead of constantly
  • Made rust deoxydizer bubblier (both art and audio)
  • Suit Checkpoint placer now more strongly indicates its usage and direction
  • Fix occasional crash when taking a timelapse screenshot after load
  • Fix issue where overlays would partially show in timelapse screenshots
  • Fix "ghost ladders" that would exist if a ladder got replaced with a tile

Klei, please, fix it in the russian language.

Земледение and Агрокультура = are synonyms in Russian. 

Change "Агрокультура" to "Земледение" and

"Земледелие" to "Животноводство"

This has always been the case in your localization version. Fix this error

@Ipsquiggle I like the idea with the screen shots, but can we please come back to the old display of the save files itself?
This very long list of

makes it very inconvenient to browse save files. And browsing colonies is potentially not the main use of the load menu. Thx.

I have them also all green but I didn't tame all critter types at all so it seems bug is with that checkboxes progress.

But when starting new game they are correctly all unchecked...

  1. Nice, one of people's biggest UI complaints.
  2. This is pretty huge for the way I use incubators and egg crackers together (I want always one egg there to make sure things don't die out, and not being able to select when no eggs around was pretty bad).
  3. Does this effect gas stacking? Numbers at least would be nice.
  4. Finally, critter sensor before was so weird unlike temperature etc. sensors, and I had to do a not gate on it for what I wanted (incubator only going if too few critters). Of course, I'll still be having an and gate with a clock cause right now there's no point in incubators running more than a small amount a cycle...
  5. I had been confused by this before my first time placing a suit checkpoint, which I can say can almost be disastrous with a stranded dupe, so nice.

As a Linux player who's had to submit bug reports before, can confirm.
Just note when reporting bugs that Klei's bug tracker has a slight issue where it doesn't believe .log files are text and thus forces them going through the standard attachment system instead.

OK, looks like a huge memory leak.  I'll post a bug report after I crash the system again and it recreates the player log file. Wow.  Its crashing because its eating all my RAM.  Each frame jumps my memory profile by about 1.2gb.

Looks like I'm getting similar, although at a smaller scale, something like 3MB per frame.

It looks like the one allocation snuck through! Overall this screen is much better than before, but it will be even better when the fix for this goes up :) Thanks for reporting.
