ItsaGamer05 Posted June 7, 2019 Share Posted June 7, 2019 With the inclusion of the 4 new characters and skin bundles, Klei has found a way to monetize their game without the use of stuff like in-game currency. However, with games with DLC comes a Season Pass, which is basically the cheapest way to get all the DLC in a game, with sometimes added bonuses. Do you think Don’t Starve Together could use something like this or is it unnecessary? Let me know what you think. I much prefer to just drop some cash for Klei and get some stuff instantly. The whole point of a season pass is to get the player to pay for something and only get it AFTER they spend hours grinding for it. Thalkas Posted June 7, 2019 Share Posted June 7, 2019 Im not fan with Season Pass for every DLC in one year, but I was huge fan with "Character Season Pass" which would add all new characters from one year eg. 2019. If Klei would add 3-4 characters per year, this bundle had sens and wouldn't be too expensive also with smaller content - only new characters and/or their skins. But JoeW rewrote something about they dont know how to do this ... yet.
