Regardless though, I ALREADY DID BUY IT ON STEAM. I've bought both DS and DST on steam because at one point Klei was treating the game on PS4 with repsect, pushing out updates a week or two after they hit PC and I didn't mind supporting what I thought was a good studio. But unfortunately my PC is ****, and anyways I like playing on PS4 more (sue me). I shouldn't have to pay double to get an almost as good experience. If Klei are unable of treating console users near the same as PC, then they shouldn't have released it on console. The fact that they just released it on XBOX after struggling to give PS4 updates for as long as they have, is a slap in the face. It's a clear money grab. I don't care that we can't get mods. I don't care that we can't trade skins. I don't care that we don't have special promotions for loyalty skins. All I want is seasonal updates around the season they represent, and content updates to be within 3 months of when PC gets it. That's incredibly reasonable. We STILL have hallowed nights on PS4. It's been 115 days since Halloween. Regarding the updates, I'm part of some other games' communities which are also available on steam and consoles and all of them are months behind on PS4 compared to steam. They get updates very rarely, but then with a lot of content. So it seems to me the issue is more on Sony's side then Klei's. Why would they keep the PS-version away from the updates, making part of their playerbase angry, if they could do it so simply? Just my thoughts. Anyways, sorry for the derail. I'll stop.
