I'll just post the images here just for comparison: From what the Carter Puzzles show us, William wasn't one for tricking people but he did have financial problems. I guess he's using his bitterness as revenge for people and things that don't deserve such projection? I probably would let my father play ace attorney and Layton if I could but he seems kind of scared to play current gen games. He's more of a tetris and pac-man type of player. I just remember that one can loose HP by picking one. I always figured it might be something like bitterness or revenge. Like, when people have been hurt, bullied or abused, sometimes they turn around and try to inflict the very same pain back on others who don't deserve it. No, you're right, they only cause pain, not mental pain. Probably Charlie's revenge. It was part of the Jouste challenge of the week. You might want to try a entry or two before next Tuesday comes: Second of three Varg arts. Jouste wanted us to draw Vargs and on the stream I just found out the sprite sheet had Beefalo parts. So I thought it'd be funny to have a Varg cosplay as a Beefalo to gain Wilson's trust. Would've posted this yesterday but I crashed after working on this. The Postern, Brassiers, and cage came from the concept arts I found through google images and screencaps from the art stream. The easiest to find color ref was the chest but other than that, the rest seem to have disappeared. Thought it'd be a interesting challenge to combine the previous concepts for the Postern and make them all connected. I really liked the idea of the flower with the eyeball. Thankfully my boss is letting my father borrow the work laptop this weekend so I can quickly check up on things and post artwork on it since now my art laptop is too cache intensive to post images on discord or even start up the desktop version of discord. Part of my dragonfly drawings for the Jouste stream. Thought it'd be fun to reference the Trogdor episode with Willow... "Critiquing" Strong Sad's art. Mama dragonfly is worried about her child's future of doing cosplay. So is the sibling. I realized later that Bees in the game have fingers and I'll rectify that in future drawings. Skeledork's Cullinarian apron a la Maison Ikkuku.Thought it'd be funny to make that classic apron have a smallbird in the stead of the chick. From the same stream, it's Skeledork as a grossglobe from Hot Lava. minespatch Posted September 6, 2018 Author Share Posted September 6, 2018 This piece took two days to make over the fact I had to change some of the character positions and make it even bigger than the original lineart. The way I put the papers together were wonky but the final result came out fine. I wanted to do a piece based around Wigfrid's effect while also throwing in the Wolfgang-chest Wendy body. Another Jouste stream drawing. This one of the Swamp Elder napping. Thought it'd be fun to have both pig and pigkin fretting, especially with the Gnaw situation going on. I wanted to give him similar anatomy to MAxwell but still give a relaxed posture in contrast to stuck up 60 year grandpa. The apron is patterned after Tim Burton concept art for Beetlejuice since I had a hard time finding anything apron related in Burton in general. Probably could've looked up episodes of the Beetlejuice cartoon but I wanted to go straight to the source for inspiration(otherwise google images shows other people influenced by Burton's aesthetic).
