From what I can tell, it sends the coordinates you clicked on to http://cyclum.dontstarvetogether.com/clickamajob (the link doesn't do anything if you go to it), and reloads the page if it gets the response "reload". Not sure what that'd do, though. He was removed from the throne and instead of being released like he probably thought(since someone took the burden from him), he was instead thrown back into the world of his creation. I don't think this is a sign of him being insane so much as a sign of Them being upset but also laughing at his weakness.
