Any plans to bring the Pawn, the Bacoon, or Bboon into the game?

Bacoons should drop fur tufts when they die.

Pawns should have a small AoE shock attack and lower hp.

I don't know what a Bboon is a mix of though, baboon and something...

i also think pawns would occasionally drop gear fragments and a certain amount of them could be refined into gears!

Oh man, I want the Bacoon in game so badly! But something's telling me that the thing that would've set it apart from the pigs is throwing up gifts for the player, which obviously got worked into the Catcoon instead. :( I mean, I love Catcoons too. But that Bacoon looks so awesome...

It is a possibility that more concepts might come forth but I wouldn't hold hope onto it for too long. :)
If anything modders are your best friends to try and work out how they could be implemented.
Heck if it's modded in there's always a chance the devs could bring it in slowly.

Closest currently would probably be the SteamPunk's bulber: [LINK]

MycoLogical - Where did that pic come from?

It varies location to location but a some concepts can be found on Jeffs blog. Others need to be searched for since they've removed them from the site. :(
Someone on pinterest was neato enough to save quite a few pieces though! [LINK] Any others you'll have to google for them.

Well, Flup has been added not too long ago. Bacoon and Bboon fit more to be in Shipwrecked in my opinion, but would've been cool if they are added to DST anyways.

(I think Bacoon has been replaced with Catcoons, Bboon replaced with Splumonkeys and Pawn with Light Flowers)

That sounds like something for broken clockworks...

If any of you want to see more concept art or whatever Klei released (or not released :p) for Don't Starve since day one you can look into my dropbox folder. I am collecting everything Klei does and creates so here you go:

DON'T STARVE FODLER

BTW if you somehow have something that i am missing PLEASE let me know i will be really grateful!

I remember something about Iron trees...electric, gears stuff... That was said to be scrapped ideas of a first concept for the dlc which later evolved into RoG

Yeah, those ideas evolved into a mod later on, if I'm not mistaken.

Steam biome, I think...

They do look more well-adaptable in Shipwrecked, but personally I just want to see them in the game!

Clockwork monsters smartly imitate chess pieces moves. Pawns have a one direction, one case reach capture, so they should behave like spiders.

But they also have a special capture called "en passant" (I'm amused to see that it's the same name as in French, literal translation is in passing). Sadly it would be hard to explain and even the wikipedia explanation seems hard to digest if you don't know how to play chess. But I've made some brainstorming and came up wiith what could be the DST equivalent : if you get too close to the pawn you'd have a hard time escaping it. As you run away from it, it would send you a little paralysing shock attack, allowing it to get close to you again. To make it balanced, it would need some time before it can perform a second shock attack so you're not infinitely stuck with it.
