SapoLover Posted February 8 Share Posted February 8 (edited) I don't want to be mean, but this update is horrible. You were given many suggestions, even before the year started. They weren't perfect, but they gave at least an idea of what the players wanted or expected, changes for the mobs the year is about. Even the smallest change would have sufficed to say "hey, it's not what I expected, but I guess it's enough for a YoT update. Next update will bring the real stuff", but no. For an update named "Year of the Dragon", this feels like a waste. I don't want to assume anything, but for once I feel the only thing you paid attention to in this forums lately are bug reports (some) and arguments to say "keep it polite". I'd like to build more bridges and I'd actually drop Black Desert Online for a little to do some bridge making, but I'm not particularly motivated to play if I can't build. I've played the event, beaten the monkey 3 times and received 6 gold nuggets. Thanks for making the event klei, but I value building more. Please let us have the ability to make docks in the ring of the "Start line" and have the race simply 'not start' if there are dock obstructions. You are able to hammer the start pole so it's not a big deal if you misplace anything.  Or rather, let us place the start line in areas smaller than where you are able to race.  Also, can we get 1x1 sized boat kits which are worth like, 1 gold or even if you made it worth 40 gold, I don't care. Boat racing using shipwrecked boats would’ve been pretty neat.. and would’ve finally gave Klei an excuse to add the smaller 1 person boats into the game, but nope! Fail on Dragon event, fail on Dragonfly changes, fail on fun new boats. I personally wouldn’t have minded an optional behavior change so Dragonfly could be toggled as a Seasonal Boss like she was in Solo DS… Idk- Anything seems better than boat racing. I love these ideas. In previous events parts of the content got carried over to the main branch, like the pigmen wrestlers. Perhaps they will stay? This is very inspiring to me) I haven’t tried this update yet and I don’t present all the content to the end, but I will definitely have a sail race with my friends in the coming days)) Otherwise, I support you in developing ocean content though would be with the help of such events. What I especially like is that I recently bought a set of Outlaw skins and this set is perfect for an event like this. I have nothing to say about masquerade skins, because I don't really like their style. But the new Twitch drop in the form of a tent skin is a really cool gift.
