Huge Bug Fix Beta Available Now!

As someone who still binges DS in short bursts, this post made my day. So many good fixes! But alas, vines regrowing in ruins the instant you exit them doesn't seem to be on the list. Many of us have gotten stuck that way.

But on a side note, I am an avid Beefalo tamer. I'm going to love being able to use my ornery beefalo's attack damage again. Onwards, Shia LeBoof!

Don't gotta add anything new, but its still nice to get rid of major flaws for anyone who wants to dip their toes into that experience again. "Abandoning" it as bugless as possible is ideal

oooooh update for DS solo?? I LOVE IT!!!!!

Please add integrate backpack and crafting tab like the together version.

 

Also, I would love to see geometric placment as a quality of life update <3

Like, Bug fixes! Great! Love them. But I think most of the people here where under the impression that Don't Starve was done and dusted. Feels really weird to come back and do a metric butt ton of bug fixes like this.

I can't lie, this is very extremely unusual to be getting an update on that game still. I thought overall you're done with singleplayer and DST's now the new show.

While this is a post filled with a lot of confusion as to why would you return to it, then again I assume there was some spare time to invest and upkeep the base game's overall quality.

But, yea. I'm surprised. Good work! I don't expect more new content in it but hoping it'll be a more stable and enjoyable experience when the mood's right to play again.

Maybe I'm being optimistic but I hope the baby oxen are rescued from cut content. 

I cant (unfortunately) focus on just the bugs because... well console. :v

Awe could you at least revert this change for wagstaff? I liked the idea that he was able to escape because he wasn't really on the throne to begin with. 

(Plus i thought it was intentional)

There are no current plans for new DS content. We do expect some additional bug fixes and there is at least one QOL update planned along with adjustments or changes based on feedback. 

I mentioned in the 2021 roadmap that we would be working to fix up the original DS ports and this is more or less a continued extension of that effort.

Oh yah btw theres a bug where krissures will erupt forever. It happens in IA too, I don't see it in the changelog so I guess it hasn't been fixed yet (fix it for us please)

Could we have at least one building added to the game? As a setpiece that would generate in Hamlet.

Talking about the Thulecite shop and vendor, since they sort of exists. Would love it as a secret shop and something to potentially build if it's possible. Ancient magic is so are in the game when resources are limited sometimes.

Wait so this is a enormous bug fix patch for Singleplayer with no new content from DST? LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is what i've been waiting that's what this is all about!

These are all mostly nice- but there is one very specific thing I must ask about.

the above super long bug fix/changes posts states that deployables (crockpot, Campfire, Science Machine) will no longer be placeable inside a building interior, But Does this Include Walani’s Surfboards??

(neatly propped against my stuffs cabinet)
