The updated AI for the Cozy Bunnymen that dig themselves into the ground then pop back out in another location is really cool, it’s a shame this didn’t transfer to All Bunnymen.. but maybe Klei tested that & felt it was too broken.

Also after attempting to kill a single angry bee with a pillow & then a Butterfly I am pretty sure they Deal 0% actual damage.

Also what’s up with the “spin the carrot” mini-game?? lol

Spin the Carrot is a mini-game the Bunnymen will play when idle. It doesn't seem like the player can really interact with it though. Stealing the carrot makes them flee for a bit.

You can somehow get picked to eat the slop i managed to do it once they drop nuggets for it

Actually you can walk up to and “spin” it yourself (on Xbox) not sure what doing that does though I just saw this weird swirly vortex thingy and all the rabbits yelling “SPIN” so I walk over to it and I pick it up to discover it’s a carrot, if you drop it back down again (inside the ring) you can “spin” it with a prompt.

Outside of that I haven’t figured out what good it does.. also if the carrot you put in the shrine offering rots or they eat it (yes they’ll eat it..) you can snatch up the one they spin as a way of renewing the tribute carrot without needing to go look for, grow, or waste them.

You can but as far as i can tell spinning a carrot you placed down only spins and doesn't actually select the rabbit who lost

If you're chosen by the carrot, you'll have to eat the hairball to get pouch with 3 lucky coins

By the way is it intentional that the Maxwell refresh is still pinned in the updates page? Not knowing whether someone forgot to unpin it or it's supposed to be this way has been bugging me more than it should:D

I love the event. it's like a better thought out year of the pig king but with bunnymen and has actually given em a lot more personality as a faction. it has made me respect them more than just "killer vegans" . Every year you always amaze in how you can expand these lunar new year events for such a silly little event at the start of every year "rabbit? what the heck can they do with a rabbit event?" and as always, i am surprised. Certainly a big step up from the original first 3 way back. 

I am beyond excited to see the next arc and the next shenanigans coming forthwith for our roster of survivors.

Im bored Klei Im sorry =( I dunno what can make me come back to game again =/ maybe gorge or forge ? I know you guys never going to bring them back again  so maybe in 2023’s updates make me come back again.

Exactly how I feel.

I really like this muck about gimmick LOL it creates such fun and interesting situations for me and my friends to play around with. The one thing I love about DST more than any other game is how much personality every character has -- even the hostile ones. I am reminded of the deerclops smile in this situation which still makes me laugh quite a bit LOL, me and my friends reference it all the time. Its such a little thing that makes such a ruthless game theatrically funny. The new Wigfrid art with the bunnyman is also so great, didn't expect a The Creation reference, always look forward to the unique survivor shenanigan splash art!

It's for the Spin the Carrot "minigame" that plays in the Bunnymen circle, you or the Bunnymen will spin it and the chosen is set to eat a Hare Ball.

Yes, but as I understand it, only Bunnymans can play the game, since only they can drop Hare Ball. Does this mean that this function is useless or am I missing something?

Personally I use it to randomly pick my Pillow Fight Opponent, when the carrot selects them, I give them the battle glove to challenge to the Arena Duel..

Outside of that I guess it’s just a cute “Thing” you can do kinda like guessing which Beefalo will win a dress up contest, or dropping a wind up rat on the ground for Kitcoons to chase after.

Small rant & plea to Klei for 2023 & 2024 Roadmap in Spoiler:

I like to call this type of content a nice little distraction from the main attraction, but as much as I hate to admit this.. this type of content has seemingly taken center stage (pun 100% fully intended..) as the main attraction, Klei seems to be “hyping up” for their next big super secret thing that hopefully they’ll reveal soon in the upcoming 2023 roadmap so my feelings of side content taking the main focus may soon be put to rest. Or at least I like to hope so anyway…

As charming as hunting down lost Kitcoons are, pillow fighting with Sleep wear wearing Rabbits, & interacting with giant talking crows as you play carnival games may be… I was hoping Klei would add new core gameplay content, rework the way already existing content is generated and represented throughout the game, port of Hamlet & Shipwrecked Content, make a completely brand new Hamlet/Shipwrecked quality expansion, or even bring back those Gorge/Forge events.. 

TL:DR for spoiler-  less DST mini-game fluff & more of what I loved in DS type stuff please..? :-(

I noticed one strange thing. Not sure if this is a bug, but there are two types of Red Pouch in the game (Small and Large). There are three types in the inventory files (Small, Large and Major (not an official name)). In-game, the Large Red Pouch uses the Large Red Pouch's texture when it hits the floor, but looks like a Major Red Pouch in the inventory. Was that intended or is this a bug? We were supposed to have a third kind of Red Pouch?
