Don't starve origin story (Found By the great murph)

So what we can surmise from this is that Wilson was not very good at being a scientist but believed himself to be a genius and is isolated from society. Maxwell seen here can not actually appear in the real/Wilson's world and needs to utilize machines in order to have influence in that world at all. The question now is why would a being that would have to go through so much trouble in contacting that world want one of its inhabitants....What are your guy's thoughts?

Maxwell obviously has some sort of motives for luring Wilson into building a machine that would transport him to another world, but exactly what those motives are is still up in the air. Perhaps Wilson was chosen because he was intelligent enough to build the machine, but unhinged enough to listen to a radio that talks to him and follow its instructions, even when those instructions involve a blood sacrifice.Maybe Maxwell's just a supernatural being that's entertained by watching mortals run around, struggle to survive, and eventually die, but I believe there's likely more to it than that.

There is a grave in front of his house....

That made me think... ..what was he trying to achieve in the first place? Maybe he lost someone, and wanted them back using SCIENCE! And then when he got offered the knowledge to do so, he couldn't refuse.Another thing, that clock on his wall looks an awful lot like a Tallbird to me. Clever.

Its hard not to rewatch over and over and over again.... I lost count how many times I've seen it already!

serious. interesting though, seems like Wilson knows how to make teleportato because he made the prototype. Heh. I now really can't wait for story mode...

Hmm anybody noticed the Krampus sack in/under the cabinet when Wilson stoods in front of the finished machine?and the clock looks just like a tallbird eye. Perhaps the things in the world are at least partly from his own mind or memories?

I'm more interested in how almost all o's in Maxwell's font look like opened eyes... *rewatches vid to find more details though*

The moral of the story: don't listen to talking evil radios.

correction: don't listen to evil radios that aren't even plugged in.
