And in fact most of tencent's games are modified or just borned to 'suck money'. It's games' experiences are quite different with or without money. While, LoL is not bad as I mentioned above. But that is always a point. Fortunately, it seems that, that DST on tgp will not be different with it on Steam, infered from some posts in one unofficial forum in China. And I think there will be many tencent-hosted servers since, new comers to DST in China will quite like to not know about what is a server, what is a server running on self's PC or a server running on a remote phsical server. I guess many of them will not quite 'enjoy' DST due to that fact. And that DST is during its closed beta now. So the Chinese company that may handle DST's rights in China and help distribute it, is basically a huge video game monopoly, *coughs*likesteam?*coughs* and OP dislikes that. As long as Klei gets paid, and the game remains mostly unmodified (beyond the translation and the jokes changes to be understandable in Chinese), China is a huge market and I think opening the game to a wide market like that will make it grow exponentially. But maybe I'm missing something here. Partly deserved, partly not...think along the lines of EA, mixed with broader tech involvement and governmental ties. They're great from a pure business perspective. Not so much morally, or quality-wise? Not that they can do much negative to DST just by hosting/selling it, of course. Hopefully that's all they'll be doing. Rather than unofficially as pirated versions. We have A LOT of players in China, and a LOT of them are on pirated versions and steam isn't yet widely used. Tencent doesn't have control over the content in DST or it's operation; only that it exists on their platform. What we determined was that some of the creators of the mod were working for the service that did the translation for Tencent. Regardless, the translations were redone to ensure that this was not an issue. I checked this personally yesterday and can say that this is no longer an issue. I will check into your concern about being charged for the translations. This should certainly not be the case. I will verify to make sure there is no confusion there.
